Manufacturer of quality baby products Betis

The factory specializes in manufacturing children's clothing and christening accessories, textile items for newborn discharge from maternity hospitals, everyday and festive clothing for babies from birth to 3 years old, as well as home textiles for the whole family.

✅ How was the company founded, and how did the business start?

The BetiS trademark factory was founded in 2004 by Viktoria Chorna. It all started with the desire to dress her daughter — and later her son — in the best possible way. Motherhood inspired the founder to create clothing that meets the needs and preferences of parents. Viktoria was inspired to start her own business by the wise saying: “If you want it done right — do it yourself.”

According to Viktoria, it all began with a single sewing machine gifted by her parents. She developed the designs, searched for sales channels with her mother, her father helped with sourcing raw materials and equipment, and her sister handled advertising, promotion, and packaging. The first baby clothes were created on the gifted sewing machine. A local children's store became the first wholesale buyer. Besides the idea of starting a business, Viktoria had a strong desire to create and achieve something — and to make children and their parents happy.

That’s how the story of the BetiS factory began.

Later, sellers from other cities heard about the small production in Ochakiv. More orders started coming in. Positive feedback inspired further growth, and one of the largest textile factories in Ukraine emerged — with modern equipment and high production capacity. The team regularly participates in national and international exhibitions, presenting their BetiS brand.

The BetiS company is one of the leaders in the wholesale Ukrainian market in its product niche.

✅ Which products are special and most in demand among buyers?

The factory’s product range is quite large. It was one of the first on the market to produce clothing for premature babies starting at 600 grams. This product line is unique because such babies require even more care. Everything necessary is made for them — envelopes, cocoons, positioners.

The factory produces clothing for newborns and children up to 3 years old. This includes discharge sets, casual and festive outfits, lightweight and insulated overalls, bodysuits, hats, and bedding sets for cribs.

Christening clothes and festive outfits are in especially high demand among wholesale and retail clients. The factory produces outfits for babies for special occasions: festive dresses, shirts, christening towels, accessories — made from quality materials such as cotton, cotton knitwear (kulirka, interlock, footer, terry), velour, silk, etc. The size chart ranges from size 32 to 134.

✅ How do you choose raw materials and suppliers?

BetiS production is not a conveyor line. The company follows the principle: quality above all. Therefore, fabric and accessories are selected with great care. They purchase the highest quality knitwear made only from 100% cotton, and always test for softness and hypoallergenic properties, knowing that synthetic chemicals are common and children’s allergies are widespread. The same applies to accessories and snap fasteners — they do not contain toxic components. The factory is certified annually and confirms quality through hygiene inspections.

The company constantly evolves, launches new collections, updates its assortment, and improves popular models. The production process is modernized with new equipment and technologies such as embroidery, transfer printing on fabric, and more.

What would you advise parents of newborns?

To young parents, I would advise not to chase beauty or unusual designs, but to pay attention to quality indicators. Newborn clothing should have calm colors, since bright-colored fabrics may contain toxic dyes and can irritate the baby. Clothes must not restrict movement, chafe, or fit too tightly. Pay attention to neat seams, finishing details (loops, edging, etc.), how securely accessories are attached, and whether snap fasteners work well. If they’re too tight, the fabric around them may tear or stretch — said Viktoria.

✅ What is the company’s pricing policy?

BetiS products belong to the mid-price segment. However, according to customer feedback, BetiS clothes are also bought by people with high incomes. This proves that the quality and appearance of the clothes match those of well-known brands. The factory has earned the trust of various consumers, which it values greatly.

✅ How did your partnership with Torgsoft begin?

According to Viktoria, the Torgsoft program was initially installed in the “Neposida” children’s store chain in her hometown of Ochakiv. When she realized that managing inventory, tracking deliveries, and controlling settlements with customers was difficult without accounting software, she began searching for a solution to organize trade operations.

Eventually, it became clear that the program suited not only retail but also wholesale needs. Thus, Torgsoft was integrated into all key trade processes. Later, there was a need to link production with sales — as they were parts of a whole. Together with Torgsoft specialists, the BetiS team developed features to integrate into the software. After improvements, Viktoria received a complete accounting system for sewing production that perfectly met their needs.

I want to say that Torgsoft employees are true professionals — they not only fulfilled what I requested but also understood the processes, suggested better ways to organize accounting, and we made it work! The program keeps evolving. These people put their hearts into their work, which I deeply appreciate and respect.

✅ What advice would you give to aspiring store owners, as a children’s clothing manufacturer and supplier?

I recommend entrepreneurs buy goods only from trusted suppliers. If possible, check whether the company meets delivery deadlines, pricing policies, and model availability listed in the catalog. Understand the purchasing terms — whether the entire order must be prepaid, or if consignment with partial payments is possible. In clothing retail, collections are usually made to order with an advance payment. Deliveries must be on time, otherwise, the entrepreneur may face losses. For example, if a shipment of warm pajamas is delayed even by two weeks, customers may buy elsewhere and the demand will be gone once your goods arrive.

✅ What is your strength, your main advantage for clients?

BetiS products are made exclusively from natural fabrics, mostly 100% cotton of various types. Wholesale clients work with personal managers who help them choose and receive goods on time. Every production stage is important — no exceptions — and all employees strictly follow internal procedures.

In addition, designers create garments in a unique style, incorporating feedback and wishes from parents.

BetiS children’s clothing can be purchased both wholesale and retail. BetiS products are available in many children’s stores and outlets throughout Ukraine. The company works directly with store owners without intermediaries. There is a brand retail store in Kyiv. You can order children’s clothing and view the wholesale catalog at www.tmbetis.com.ua.

“The pandemic posed new challenges, and the war brought even greater ones. But we overcome them and grow stronger, despite the difficulties of living in a frontline city. Over the years, our team has always responded to urgent public needs. During the pandemic, we sewed masks; now, we produce other necessary items for the military. Being useful to the country during hard times is essential. We all bring victory closer — each in our own way,” — Viktoria Chorna, founder and director of the BetiS children's clothing and home textile factory.
