Why do you need discount cards?

Discount cards are a way to exchange customer loyalty for discounts or rewards.

You can organize various discount programs: cumulative discounts, VIP cards, cards for accumulating bonuses, etc. Barcode discount cards and plastic gift certificates are used to attract new customers and reward loyal ones.

Discount cards:

• help increase customer loyalty by encouraging them to make purchases in your store,
• allow you to collect customer data that can be used for targeted marketing campaigns, mass mailings, and improving the range of goods and services,
• help you track sales and identify popular products or services,
• provide savings on purchases for your customers, access to exclusive offers and discounts,
• allow you to create reward programs to accumulate points for purchases.

Gift certificates:

• A way to increase sales, as customers who have gift certificates will definitely visit the store and make purchases,

How to make discount cards for a store?

How to create unique barcodes for discount cards

In Torgsoft → Marketing → Customers, you need to create a range of barcodes for discount cards. Set the starting and ending number of discount cards, as well as their number. Subsequently, this range will need to be transferred to the Nota Card company, which is engaged in the production of discount cards. In the printing house, it is enough to name the first and last card number.

All barcodes in Torgsoft comply with the EAN-13 standard. The program generates 12 digits, the last thirteenth digit is generated during printing in the printing house and is called the checksum.

The initial part of the barcode of discount cards is unique to avoid overlap with other stores that also have the Torgsoft accounting program installed.

How to use discount cards in Torgsoft

Think over and create a discount policy that will be valid in the store or retail chain.

• Choose the type of discount - cumulative, bonus or fixed. Set the initial amount and percentage of the discount, as well as the initial amount of bonuses in the appropriate fields.
• For cards with a zero discount, set zeroes in the Initial amount and Initial discount fields.
• For cards with a preset discount, enter the values corresponding to the selected discount policy in these fields.

Issue discount cards to customers

When the discount cards are created, distribute them to the cash registers to sellers.
From the Torgsoft program, you can print questionnaires that customers must fill out before the card is issued. Or the seller can quickly add a customer by entering only his or her name and phone number into the program.

In Torgsoft, you can add a customer's phone number, address, city, region, country, zip code, email address, and family composition - names and dates of birth of family members.

It has become common and convenient to register customers by phone number, so that the discount card can be found in the program by phone number if the customer has forgotten it.

In addition, protection against fraud with discount cards, discounts and customer bonuses can be added to Torgsoft - card verification via SMS by phone number.

1. Agree on the delivery time and cost of producing discount cards or gift certificates. Nota Card is a full-service printing house, so our managers will immediately make the necessary calculations.
2. If you don't have a layout, you can order it from Nota Card, if you have lost it, they will help you restore it, if you have a layout, send it to notacard.print@gmail.com. There are certain requirements for layouts - they must be made in Corel or Illustrator.
3. After that, a Nota Card specialist will contact you to agree on all the details.
4. All preparations before printing will be done by Nota Card independently. If the layout needs to be finalized, you will be helped to do so.
5. After approving the layout of the discount card, you need to pay for the order and the cards will be sent to the printing house for printing.
6. Nota Card managers will send the finished circulation of plastic cards to your city.
