Basic accounting: preparation and tools in Torgsoft
As a business grows (increase in staff, number of transactions and counterparties), basic tools like Excel become insufficient. An entrepreneur needs a systematic approach to accounting and financial support.
Accounting is divided into two key areas:
accounting and tax accounting — reporting, tax calculation, and submitting documents to state authorities.
management accounting — controlling the movement of goods, finances, and profitability for decision-making by the business owner.
The Torgsoft program automates management accounting specifically, creating a base of primary data necessary for bookkeeping.
Stages of preparation for accounting
1
Financial planning: calculate the expected income and regular expenses of the business.
2
Choice of taxation system: determine the optimal regime (for example, sole proprietorship groups 1-3 or LLC on a simplified system). Regularly monitor changes in legislation.
3
Organization of support: determine the person responsible for accounting (owner, in-house or remote accountant).
4
Automation: implement accounting software to record the movement of goods, services, and funds.

Summary: Torgsoft covers the entrepreneur's needs in primary document flow, cash discipline, and financial control. However, to calculate complex depreciation, account for all indirect operating expenses, and generate final tax returns, data from Torgsoft must be exported or transferred to an accountant for work in specialized accounting systems.
