73 countries in the world annually set their clocks to winter or summer time: in the fall - one hour back and in the spring - one hour forward. In Ukraine, the transition to winter time will take place on the night of October 28-29.

In Torgsoft, the time will be translated automatically

The Torgsoft program uses the Windows system time settings. Therefore, you do not need to specially translate anything; the time will be translated automatically in accordance with the set time zone.

What does the time affect, and where is the time displayed in the Torgsoft program?

The time of the operation is reflected in many documents and forms generated by the Torgsoft program:

• When working with software ECR.
• In reports on the cash register and in the goods report, the time of creation of the report is automatically set;
• In the report on the time of arrival/leaving of sellers, registration of employees;
• In commodity receipt, which is printed on a receipt printer;
• In documents of financial transactions: collection receipt, receipt and expense cash order, etc.

Time change occurs twice a year. In other cases, manual time change will affect the creation and editing of warehouse and financial documents, which can become a reason for sellers' fraud. To prevent this, you need to prohibit users from changing the time and date. You can do this in the operating system settings.

Software ECR and time conversion

To change the time settings in Windows, set the time zone to Kyiv time and enable automatic clock change when switching to summer/winter time, you need to do the following:

1. Open the Control Panel. You can do this by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard, then type Control Panel and select the appropriate result.
2. In the Control Panel window, find and select Clock, language, and region. You may need to switch to the large or small icons to view these options.
3. Click on Date & Time
4. In the Date & Time window, click on the Time Zone tab.
5. Click on the Change Time Zone button, then select the desired time zone from the list. For Kyiv, this is usually "(UTC+02:00) Kyiv". This will ensure that the time automatically changes according to the season.
6. Click OK and then Apply if necessary to save the changes.
7. If you want to ensure that the time on your computer is always accurate, you can also synchronize your clock with the Internet time. To do this, go to the Internet Time tab in the Date & Time window, then click Change Settings and select a server to synchronize with Internet Time. After that, click "Update Now" to have your system synchronize the time. After completing these steps, your Windows OS will automatically adjust the time when it is time to switch to summer or winter time and will maintain the exact time by synchronizing with the Internet.

Changing the time in the fiscal registrar

The fiscal device has its own "own" time. The fiscal receipt and reports generated by the fiscal registrar (or cash register) also show the time of the operation.
