On August 3, 2026, the transition period ends: cosmetic products that are first placed on the market in Ukraine after this date must comply with the Technical Regulation on Cosmetic Products. For the seller, this means a simple set of requirements: the product must be labeled in Ukrainian, have a responsible person in Ukraine, undergo notification, and the supply chain must be confirmed by documents. Products placed on the market before August 3, 2026 may continue to be made available on the market, and they cannot be prohibited only because they do not comply with the new regulation. How to set up cosmetics accounting: steps
Create the «Cosmetics» product type. In the «Product Type Settings» window, add a separate tree branch for cosmetics. The specific name and packaging are entered in the «Description» field on the product editing form.
Add dynamic characteristics. Through the «Show dynamic product parameters» panel, add fields: responsible person, country of origin, notification identifier, composition, warnings, storage conditions, period after opening, presence of nanomaterials.
Record the batch and supplier during receipt. The supplier and date of receipt are stored in the goods receipt invoice. Record the batch number and shelf life in the agreed accounting location — in dynamic characteristics, description, quality certificates, or a note to the receipt, depending on your configuration.
Attach documents. In the product card, on the «Quality Certificates» tab, save the number and expiration date of supplier documents. The program highlights goods whose document has expired or is missing.
Configure label printing. Add the required fields in Ukrainian to the label template: name, composition, manufacturer, country, barcode. This covers part of the labeling requirements.
Configure upload to the online store. Through «Synchronization with the Online Store», send characteristics, photos, and description to the website so that the buyer can see the composition, warnings, and shelf life.
