Here is a guide on setting up receipt printing and sending electronic versions (SMS/Viber) in the Torgsoft program.
Part 1: How to print a receipt when selling goods
In order for the receipt to be printed (automatically or upon request), settings must be configured in two sections of the program.
1. Selecting a printer in the program
Before starting, make sure the printer driver is installed in Windows.
1
Go to the menu Settings — Printer Selection.
2
In the Non-fiscal receipt block (or in the Fiscal registrar block, if you use a Software RRO/fiscal registrar), in the "Print on printer" field, select your device from the list.
3
Click Save. This setting is individual for each workplace (computer).
2. Setting print conditions
1
Go to the menu Settings — Options.
3
In the Receipt type field, select the required mode:
Non-fiscal — a regular sales receipt is printed.
Fiscal — the receipt passes through the registrar/Software RRO.
Mixed — fiscal goods are printed via the registrar, non-fiscal goods — on a regular printer.
4
In the Receipt printing conditions field, select one of the options:
Mandatory for every sale — the receipt will be printed automatically immediately after clicking the "Pay" button.
At the request of the buyer — before payment, the seller must click the "Receipt" button in the payment window if the client requested it.
3. Printing process during sale
1
Open the Realization form.
2
Add the item to the receipt (by scanner or manually).
3
Click the Pay button (F6).
4
In the payment window, depending on the settings, the receipt will be printed automatically or after clicking the corresponding button.
Part 2: How not to print a paper receipt (sending via SMS or Viber)
This function is most often used when working with Software RRO (PRRO). An electronic receipt is a valid settlement document.
1. Disabling paper receipt printing
To save paper and not print the receipt physically:
1
Go to the menu Settings — Software RRO (or via Settings — Options — Additional functions — Software RRO).
2
Activate the setting Do not print paper receipt. This setting executes the print command to send data to the tax office, but the printer does not physically issue paper.
3
Alternatively, you can enable the option Do not print paper receipt when sent electronically. In this case, the paper receipt will not be printed only when the electronic one is successfully sent.
2. Sending setup (SMS/Viber)
To send receipts, you must have the "Mass mailing" option activated and an account with a mailing service (e.g., TurboSMS, AlphaSMS).
1
Connecting the service:
Go to Settings — Options — Additional functions — Software RRO.
In the message settings block, select Delivery Service (e.g., TurboSMS) and enter your account details (gateway login/password or API key).
Select or create a Message template. The template must contain the variable CheckLink (link to the receipt).
For Viber mailings, it is recommended to insert the CheckLink variable in the "Click URL" field (for the button in the message).
3. Sending process during sale
1
In the Realization window, when you click the Pay button, a field for entering the client's phone number (or email) will appear.
2
If the client is selected from the database and has a filled-in phone number, the number will be pulled automatically.
3
Check the box to send the message (if the setting "Automatically send a copy of the receipt" is enabled, the box will be checked automatically).
4
After payment, the client will receive a link to the fiscal receipt on the tax service website.
Important: To send SMS/Viber, you must have a positive balance on the account of the selected mailing service (e.g., TurboSMS), as these messages are paid.
