How can I add additional product characteristics in Torgsoft?

One of the advantages of Torgsoft is flexibility. Our program for accounting for goods is universal, suitable for almost any store, and at the same time, each type of trade will find useful opportunities for itself. We strive to expand the list of them, making the program even more convenient.

A huge step forward in this direction was the introduction of Dynamic product characteristics in version 9.3.0. Thanks to them, you can not only choose from existing parameters, but also create your own unique values. For example, for jewelry, you can add the following characteristics: assay, insert, weave; for smartphones, the number of SIM cards, battery capacity, memory, number of cores, number of megapixels for the main and front cameras; for bicycles, the frame size, wheel diameter, class (children's, city, mountain, highway, folding...), type of brakes, number of speeds, etc. That is, you can enter any values by which the goods are classified in your store to display important secondary characteristics for which there were no separate fields previously, for convenient search and greater personalization of the program for yourself.

How do they work?

You can create or modify Dynamic Characteristics for your products in the Product view or product card. You can fill in the name, data type, tooltip (if necessary), and group the indicators into separate categories (for example, Backpacks or Smartphones) to avoid getting lost in the multitude of criteria.

You will be able to add additional parameters to the label template, customize the display of columns with additional parameters and convenient filters by them on the Receipt, Sales, Warehouse status, Internal transfer, and many other forms that contain a list of goods.

In one of the next updates, you will also be able to upload Dynamic Characteristics to the online store.
