How do I ship cargo over the cordon via Meest Express?

Individual entrepreneurs can export their goods via the Bridge Express International Delivery service to many countries of the European Union: for example, Poland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States, as well as Canada and Australia. 

Like other carriers, Meest Post delivers parcels abroad from Lviv to the nearest European countries by air. The operator has 3700 international shipping points, including Rozetka, Foxtrot, OKKO, Eva. 

How do I arrange an international shipment with Meest?

To send an order abroad, an entrepreneur needs to:

1. Register on the Meest Export website or in the mobile application by filling out the "Become a customer" application.

2. Sign a contract with Meest Export.

3. Get access to your personal account. 

4. Fill out the online form for sending, indicating:

• sender and recipient addresses,

• description and cost of the content,

• the size and weight of the parcel

3. Choose a delivery and payment method. 

4. Prepare the parcel by packing it in accordance with Meest Express requirements and take it to the nearest branch (or order courier delivery).

Requirements for business parcels:

• Maximal vaga: 30 kg.

• Maximum dimensions: 120 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm.

The cost of parcels

The delivery price depends on the distance to the destination country, size, weight, and type of parcel. The minimum cost of Meest's targeted delivery to Poland is 550 UAH and 230 UAH to a warehouse. The service will cost more for other destinations. 

For example, a business package weighing 250 grams in the United States will cost $8.5, while in Germany it will cost €14.69. The cost of a business parcel weighing up to 3 kg in the US is $42, and €20.24 in Germany.

The Mist website has a calculator that allows you to calculate the final cost of parcel delivery, including the IOSS number. 

Delivery times

Delivery time for shipments to the United States is 7 to 20 business days, depending on the state (all parcels are delivered to New York airport). Delivery time in Europe: 4 to 10 business days.

Registration of mita

Meest Express can help you with customs declarations. You can calculate the amount of duty yourself using the calculator on the Meest Export website.

The logistics company's website states that sellers can obtain an IOSS number to simplify customs clearance and reduce the cost of transporting goods on foreign marketplaces such as Etsy, Amazon, and eBay. 

In the absence of this number, the recipient pays VAT and customs duties in the country of destination.

Without an IOSS number, parcels may be sent with unpaid duty (DDU), which can lead to delays at customs and additional fees for the recipient.
