Fine Organic is a craft production of plant-based products in Volyn, which grew out of the idea of changing people's well-being and perception of the world through the consumption of healthy and tasty food.
The brand was founded by Vasyl and his wife Yulia. The family business began 8 years ago with the production of vegan cheese for the family. With an education as a meat product technologist and reliable family support, as well as the need to switch to more organic and lighter food for health reasons, Vasyl founded his own vegan food production for sale in his native village of Kremenets in Volyn.
Brand development strategy
However, an idea is not enough. In business, it is crucial to combine an idea, a product, and reliable, like-minded partners who share the brand's mission and concept.
Vasyl's business partners were Andrii, the founder of the Kyiv-based internet marketing agency Para, who took over marketing and promotion, and Yaroslav, the co-founder of the company representing the O bag brand, who took over setting up business processes and implementing brand standards.
So, having drawn up a strategic plan for the development of the Fine Organic online store, the entrepreneurs quickly got down to business. Vasyl gained an understanding of how much money to spend on purchasing equipment and how long it would take to pay for it, what margin to set for products, what products to add to the store's range and how to sell them.
What is Fine Organic about?
The core values of the Fine Organic brand are:
- production of organic products of non-animal origin,
- own products without gluten, GMOs, artificial ingredients such as preservatives, dyes, artificial vitamins,
- pure organic cultivation method - without growth catalysts, fertilisers and plant protection products,
- own field where some of the ingredients are grown, while others are imported from the USA and are certified for quality,
- unique recipes developed by the brand owner based on Western scientific articles and sources, with the addition of special Ukrainian flavours,
- healthy recipes, tips on healthy eating and the right combination of products.
The online store's product range is quite wide and unusual. It sells alternative products such as vegetable cheeses, soya semi-finished products, minced meat, organic home-made baked goods and even cultured cashew sour cream.
The company currently sells its products through its website and Instagram page. Future plans include scaling up the business, purchasing the necessary equipment, and reaching a level of sales that would reduce the payback period to 2.5 years.
