Rating of seed stores in Ukraine

During the sowing season, we have prepared a list of Ukrainian seed stores and companies that grow crops and are leading suppliers of them. The rating is based on the number of visitors to the companies' websites in February 2023.
1. Agro-market.net
1.3 million visitors
Agromarket, an online supermarket of goods for the garden, vegetable garden and home, was launched in 2013. The website offers over 15,000 products. The main assortment includes seeds, saplings, bulbs, fruit, exotic and berry trees, and fertilisers. In addition, the store sells goods for the home, garden and vegetable garden, food, household chemicals, lighting, tools, pet products and "indestructible" goods: stoves, stoves, power banks, generators, charging stations, etc.
The company constantly offers promotions and draws for customers, develops a loyalty programme, and provides useful information on its YouTube channel.
2. Florium.ua (in the top of Google search results)

Florium.ua, an online seed store, is on the second place in the ranking. It was founded in 2008 in the village of Hlyboka, Chernivtsi region, with the idea of a small business for parents. On the website, the company's experts give advice to amateur gardeners and professional farmers on choosing and growing plants, and make video reviews of products, where everyone can find the necessary information on gardening and crop production.

What do you need to automate a garden centre?
The success of all the above-mentioned stores largely depends on automation, as the accounting program helps to control a large assortment of goods, assign employees to perform strictly regulated tasks, quickly revalue goods, and synchronise goods with the online store and marketplaces.
To automate a store of seeds, saplings, agricultural supplies, and related products, you need:
- Accounting programme for a garden centre Torgsoft Ultra or Terminal
- Trade equipment: a barcode scanner for quick sales and inventory, a label printer for marking goods with barcodes, a receipt printer for selling goods - printing fiscal and non-fiscal receipts.
Additional options will come in handy:

- Software PTR and connection to a bank terminal for selling fiscal goods and making card payments in the store.
- Linking the sale of each product to the seller to motivate sales staff to sell as much as possible.

- Connecting electronic scales for weighing goods during the sale.
- Collecting goods in a box for seasonal storage to move goods that are not needed this season to the warehouse in an orderly manner.
- Data security: archive in the cloud - for automatic storage of the garden centre's usually large database.
