Alliteration is the repetition of identical or homogeneous consonants in a word or sentence. 6. Combination of words

This method best combines the common features of products of the same brand. For example, café "Chaikoff" ("tea" + "coffee"), mobile phone Motorola (motor - car, and Ola - sound), carbonated drink 7Up (seven - 7 + Up).

7. Abbreviation

Names created from abbreviations are always on the lips. For example, few people know that the ATB retail chain is an abbreviated name of the Agrotechbusiness company. By the way, IKEA also contains the first letters of the full name of the organization.

8. Use of foreign words and names

Store names borrowed from other languages symbolize certain positive features inherent in a particular nation. For example, Ukrainian refrigerators Nord, cognac "Jean-Jacques", water "BonAqua".
German names are often associated with neatness and order. They can be suitable for products related to precision (technology), cleaning, for stationery (Bosch, BonAqua, Einhell, Karcher). English-language brand names evoke associations with something large-scale: Tom Klaim, Kristy, Scarlett, Next. French - emphasize gallantry, pleasure, elegance, good manners, etc.

How to create a name for a clothing and footwear store

Each niche has its own characteristics, so the principle of choosing a store name will be different.

Effective creation of names on Instagram begins with the following recommendations:
  • Indicate in the name of the store the category of goods in which you sell. For example, for children's stores, add the prefix kids_shop, _kids, _toys.
  • The name should not be very long, ideally it should show the essence of the product or brand and not contain more than two underscores. For example, a children's toy store can be called: joytoy_shop, children_need_toys, teddybear_shop, bybka_shop, etc.
  • Add emotions to hook the target audience. Use colorful words that are most understandable to your target audience: for women - "Coquette", "Milady", "Aphrodite"; for men - "Don Juan", "Gentleman", "Snob", etc.

Выбор названия для магазина требует тщательного подхода. Оно не должно отпугивать, вызывать недоверие, негативные эмоции у покупателей, вводить в заблуждение. Ну, и должно соответствовать той деятельности, которая в дальнейшем будет осуществляться.
