Total weight of the goods in the warehouse

The «Entering the price for units of measure» mode in Torgsoft allows users to specify weight or other measure parameters in the product description.

After that, users can easily calculate the total weight of the goods in the warehouse, based on the quantity of goods, see the total weight of the products in the warehouse in the reference unit of measure, which is presented as the "sum of the measure". This became possible thanks to the integration of the system with Axis A.R and CAS PR-II scales, the result of weighing which is automatically recorded in the "Size" field for the corresponding product. The unit of measurement for goods corresponds to the weight of the goods.

Recovery of goods in a jewelry store

Goods in Torgsoft can be posted and entered into the accounting system depending on the measure of weight — the «Measure» section contains a list of units of measurement, and units — enter separately in the Commodity → Unit of measurement menu.

Axis A.R and CAS PR-II series jewelry scales are used to determine the weight of the goods when the goods arrive. This not only speeds up the accounting process, but also ensures accuracy, reducing the possibility of errors when manually entering data. After recording, prices are entered in the required fields and become unavailable for editing. To change the prices, you need to use the "Measure price" button again.

Pricing based on weight

You can specify the price per unit weight of a product in its description. To do this, use the calculator to calculate the purchase and retail price of the product based on its weight. When connecting scales, the weight is automatically transferred to the calculator when the goods arrive - to do this, you need to activate the corresponding function in the Settings menu → Options → Weight → Use scales to determine the weight of the goods in the parish.

You also have the option of entering the weight of the product manually, if necessary.

Calculating and editing prices

Torgsoft has a convenient feature that automatically recalculates the price and cost when you change the weight of the product. For example, if you change the weight of an item, the program will automatically recalculate its purchase price. When you enter a purchase price per unit weight, the program automatically changes the retail price per unit weight, the total purchase price of the item, and its retail price. Conversely, when you change the retail price per unit of weight, the program automatically recalculates the markup percentage and the retail price of the product.

Printing measure and unit of measure on labels

In the label printing settings, you can display information about the measure and the unit of measure. This allows you to display information about the measure and unit of measure on product labels, which will help customers better understand the product.
