Season
Purpose of the "Season" mode
The "Season" mode in the program of goods accounting Torgsoft is designed to create and manage seasonal categories of goods. It allows users of the program to classify goods by seasonal characteristics, for example, "Summer", "Winter", which simplifies the process of inventory management and sales analysis. This allows you to filter products more accurately in reports and in the online store, as well as effectively plan promotions and discounts depending on the season.
Using the Season mode
- Create a season. In the program, you can add a new season by clicking the "Add" button. After that, the form is filled in, where the name of the season and its status ("Active" or "Expired") are indicated.
- Manage seasons. You can change the name and status of the season, as well as delete or deactivate irrelevant seasons.
- Assigning a season to an item. When posting an item, the user can select the appropriate season from the list, which makes the accounting of goods more structured.
Purchasing managers can use this feature to effectively plan purchases of seasonal goods. For example, order more swimsuits and sunglasses before summer.
For store managers, this feature helps to organize products by seasonality, ensuring better placement and presentation of products that are relevant to the current season.
Sales analysts can use information about seasons to analyze sales trends in depth. For example, to determine which winter products sell better and how this affects overall sales performance.
Marketers can use seasonal information to plan marketing campaigns and promotions targeted at specific seasons, such as discounts on winter clothing at the end of winter.
For small and medium-sized business owners, this feature can be useful for optimizing inventory and better understanding seasonal variations in sales.
A clothing store can use the Season mode to separate winter and summer assortments, simplifying the process of end-of-season sales.
A sports store can analyze sales of ski equipment in winter and plan purchases for the next season.
