Why do I need the "Goods prohibited for ordering from a supplier" mode?

If you run a store and want to buy goods only from the best suppliers at the best prices, this mode allows you to mark certain goods that you no longer want to order from specific suppliers - perhaps because of their high price or not very good quality. It's like making a note in your shopping list: "Do not buy this from that vendor."

How do I ban an order from a supplier?

1. Open the menu item Warehouse → Warehouse status
2. Select the desired item using the filters
3. Click the "Indication of the need to order the item" button → "Prohibit ordering from the vendor"
4. A window will appear where you need to specify a specific supplier and, optionally, the reason for refusing orders.
5. After that, this item will appear in Merchandising → Item prohibited from ordering from a supplier, where you can view who and when prohibited the order of the item, as well as change or delete the item.

What is the effect of a vendor order ban?

A ban on ordering an item from a particular vendor works like this: imagine that you have decided not to buy a certain item from a particular vendor. Once you set such a ban, when you or your salesperson places an order for goods, this particular item will not appear in the list of available items from this particular vendor. This does not mean that you cannot buy this product at all - it will still be available from other suppliers if they sell it. Such a ban allows you to control who you buy from and avoid purchases from suppliers who, in your opinion, offer goods at an inflated price or of insufficient quality.
