Why do you need product groups?

The main product cataloger in Torgsoft is the "Product type" mode. But it is not always necessary to transfer all the goods from a certain category to synchronize with the online store, or in the case of a promotion, some types of goods need to be combined to involve them in the loyalty system.

Torgsoft has a convenient tool for creating and managing product groups, which allows you to organize the range of goods - combine different products into one category, or remove products that should not participate in promotions, discounts, and manage the availability of goods.
For example, for holiday discounts, you can create a product group "Children's world" that includes toys, clothes, strollers, but exclude the stroller manufacturer "Thule" from this group, because this product in your store has a minimum markup and will not be subject to discounts.

How do I create a Product Group?

Create a new product group in the menu Product management → Product groups and click on the "Add" button. Enter the name of your new product group, for example, if the group includes products that you plan to sell on Prom, you can name it "Prom.ua".

• Add products. At the bottom of the window, you can add or remove products from the group:
• Product type
• Products of the manufacturer
• Products of a certain season
• Products of suppliers (the filter takes into account only the last delivery)
• Specific products

The Product Group Warehouse tab displays a list of products that are included in a given product group.

This mode is useful for store managers, online store administrators, and marketing departments.
It allows you to efficiently categorize products for marketing events and simplifies assortment management, for example, during seasonal sales or thematic promotions. This tool makes product offer management more flexible and targeted.
