Deleted item
Purpose of the "Deleted item" mode in the Torgsoft program
This mode is used to track and manage items that have been removed from the active assortment. It allows you to easily view deleted items, as well as restore them if necessary.
This is useful in situations where the product is no longer ordered, outdated, or not in demand. This approach contributes to efficient warehouse management, avoiding the accumulation of unnecessary goods, and maintaining an up-to-date product catalog.
How to use the "Deleted item" mode
To use this mode, you first need to select the corresponding item in the Warehouse → Warehouse status menu item, using the filter to identify items with zero or negative quantity. After that, you can delete the selected item by clicking the corresponding button. The deleted item is moved to the Deleted item list, where it can be viewed. This list also displays the date when the item was deleted. If necessary, the product can be restored.
The "Deleted item" mode will be useful for warehouse managers, accountants, and merchandisers. It will help to manage the assortment of goods, ensure the accuracy of the nomenclature, order in the database, and withdrawal of goods that will no longer be purchased. For example, if an online store decides to stop selling outdated electronics models, this mode will help remove such items from active sales and track their status.
