
The additional option "Bonus system with an expiration period" will help control open bonus accounts, accrue bonuses with a limited validity period, and automatically write them off. It informs customers about accrued bonuses and warns them about their expiration.
Any bonus system is a good incentive for a customer to make purchases in your store again, and when bonuses have a limited validity period — this happens much faster. If we compare bonus loyalty systems and discounts, the former have a number of advantages over the latter.
- Accumulated bonuses have value, which creates the effect of customer retention. If a customer has certain savings “on their account” from your store, the likelihood that they will return increases several times.
- Bonus points, the fulfillment of obligations for which is deferred, cost less compared to a discount. A discount on a product costs one hryvnia in lost income; a bonus hryvnia costs significantly less. The difference between that hryvnia and this one will remain in your company.
- Not all accrued bonuses are used. About 20-30% remain unclaimed. This means that the bonus itself will cost you less.
- Bonuses can be equated to your own currency, using which you can attract customers — loyal specifically to your brand, not just lovers of low prices.
When bonuses expire, the store benefits in the form of a discount not provided to the customer, while still remaining attractive to the customer.
The paid Bonus system with an expiration period function makes it possible to:
- accrue bonuses according to selected criteria;
- specify the validity period of accrued bonuses;
- automatically write off bonuses after the validity period ends;
- automatically inform customers about accrued bonuses and warn them about bonuses that may expire *
