The «Consignor notification» option automatically notifies the supplier or consignor about the sale of their goods via SMS or email. It simplifies working with goods on consignment.
A consignor — is a person who, under an agreement, entrusts a commission agent to sell their goods. In return, the consignor receives remuneration.
To view analytics for sent messages, the additional «Bulk mailing» function is required. To send/receive emails/messages, you need to configure Microsoft Outlook or integration with TurboSms, Epochta, AlphaSms.
Benefits of «Consignor notification»:
- You do not need to remember about sold goods and mutual settlements or spend time on mailing — the program will do everything itself according to schedule. It is enough to configure a bulk mailing template in which the main text for your partners will remain static, while the product names will change when the goods are successfully sold.
- Suppliers will know which goods sell best and will promptly bring new goods.
Operating mode of the additional «Consignor notification» option:
After activating the option, you need to go to «Settings» - «Parameters» - «Additional functions», where the Consignor notification section will appear.
In this section, you need to activate the switch «Send a message to the consignor when goods are sold». After that, the field «Template for sending messages» will appear below. In this field, from the list or after clicking the «Directory» button, you need to select a template for sending messages. To create a new template, click the «Add» button. When the button is clicked, the «Bulk mailing template» window will open.
In the «Name» field, you need to specify the name of the mailing template. In the «Mailing type» field, the type «Consignor notification» is automatically specified. Using the email or SMS mailing switch, specify how the messages will be sent. In the «Created by» field, the role of the person who created this template will be automatically displayed. In the Subject field, you need to enter the title of the message being created, provided that email is selected. In the Template content field, enter the text of the email or message. When clicking the «Insert variable» button, you can select a variable from the list of available ones. Since the selected mailing type is Consignor notification, variables related to this mailing type are added: <Product name>; <Product article number>; <Supplier amount for sold goods>; <Quantity of goods sold>. These variables will allow you to select the goods that you will send to your partners in the mailing.
In the Email sending interval field, you need to set the value in seconds. This is necessary, for example, for sending emails, so that your emails are not considered spam. Since messages cannot be sent too often, a short time interval is required. When sending messages via the SMS mailing type, you need to fill in the SMS signature field, which you configure in your TurboSms or AlphaSms personal account. Confirmation of the SMS signature takes time while it is approved, and to send SMS messages, your balance must be topped up.
Next, after clicking the «Save» button, we save the mailing template.
It should be noted that if mailing via email is used, you must have the Microsoft Outlook mail client configured for the mailing to work correctly. To send mailings via SMS mailing, you need to be a client of one of the services: TurboSms, Epochta, AlphaSMS. In the SMS service field, you need to specify from the list the service that will be used when sending SMS messages. Using the «Add» button, you can add an SMS service. To add an SMS service, you will need: if you are a TurboSms client — the SQL gateway login and password; for AlphaSMS — a key that can be obtained in your account on the website https://alphasms.ua/ in the API settings section.
After setting up the template for sending messages, save the parameters by clicking the «Save» button. Next, for the changes to take effect, restart the program by clicking the corresponding button in the upper right corner of the program window. Thus, when goods are sold, a bulk mailing will be created and sent — a message about the sold goods will be sent to the corresponding supplier according to the mode settings. Sent bulk mailings can be viewed in the menu item «Marketing» - «Bulk mailing» - the «Bulk mailings» tab.
If you need to exclude a supplier from the message mailing. To do this, go to the supplier card «Settings» - «Supplier» - the «Additional» tab and turn off the switch «Send messages to the consignor».
With the additional «Consignor notification» function, your supplier will always be aware of the sold goods.
