How to create a mass mailing in Torgsoft?

After purchasing the additional option «Mass mailing via Viber, SMS and e-mail», the menu item «Marketing → Mass mailing» will become available in your Torgsoft account.

To create a mass mailing in Torgsoft, you need to:

1. Choose the mass mailing service to be connected to the Torgsoft software for message delivery. In the case of e-mail mailings, simply select the email delivery method available in Torgsoft: Outlook, SMTP, or the paid SendGrid service.

2. Create a mailing template in the «Mass mailing templates settings» tab. Templates can be configured by language, type (SMS or email), and mailing type (standard, by invoice, by contact, by consignment note, birthday greeting, by repair, informing the consignor).

If you choose Viber mailing, the template window will look like this:

3. Create a mailing by going to the «Mass mailings» tab, where you specify the mailing name (their kind), date, time, write a description of the mailing, choose a template from the list or create a new one, and select the service (TurboSms Viber, SMS service and others available in Torgsoft).

4. Sort clients from the list of all clients in the «Marketing → Mass mailing → Clients» menu by filter (name, discount percentage, phone numbers, email addresses, city, addresses, type of discount card, or region).

How to set up different types of mailings in Torgsoft?

In Torgsoft, you can set up several types of mailings — e-mail, SMS, and Viber. Each option has its own features: 

E-mail mailing

You can send e-mail mailings in Torgsoft in the following ways:

✓ Outlook — standard, by default (requires Microsoft Outlook on the computer with Torgsoft).

✓ SMTP, where you can connect your own mail server or an existing Gmail, Ukr.net account, etc.

✓ SendGrid service — allows you to send up to 100 emails for free and quickly, offers analytics, and allows clients to unsubscribe from mailings.

Sending emails using Microsoft Outlook or through the SMTP method from a personal mailbox — is free. Torgsoft has built-in spam protection.

SMS mailing

To send bulk SMS mailings based on the customer database in the Torgsoft accounting software, you need to connect a mass messaging service such as «TurboSMS», «AlphaSMS», and others, which, on a prepaid basis, allows you to send SMS in bulk.

Sending individual messages

If you need to send individual messages from the Torgsoft software (for example, payment details or special messages to a client), this can be done by email without connecting the «Mass mailing via Viber, SMS and e-mail» option. 

Without this option you can send:

• a report to an intermediary only as an email using the Outlook sending method;

• a fiscal receipt from the ECR (with the paid additional option «Electronic Cash Register connection» activated);

• an SMS with a code for the client (with the paid additional function «Discount card verification via SMS» activated); 

• a message to the supplier about a sold product (with the paid additional function «Consignor notification» activated)

Viber mailing

For Viber mass mailings, you need: 

• a contract with TurboSMS, activation takes from 1 to 10 days,

• a subscription for Viber messages through TurboSMS (you can purchase mailing packages per month from 1000 to 10,000 UAH). The cost of one promotional message when topping up with 1000 UAH – 1.48 UAH).

In the Torgsoft accounting software, you can configure the sending of an alternative SMS message if the recipient does not use Viber.

To activate the option and test it for free, go to the «Settings → List of additional options» section in the software. Select «Mass mailing via Viber, SMS and e-mail» and click «Activate for 30 days». After activation, the column will show the date until which the option will be active. Later, after purchasing the option, all previous settings will be saved.

Note that if you have already activated this additional option for free for 30 days before, you cannot activate it again for another 30 days.

What is required to create mass mailings in Torgsoft?

1. Accounting software — Torgsoft Ultra or Terminal.

2. Additional marketing automation option «Mass mailing via Viber, SMS and e-mail».

3. A contract with the messaging service TurboSMS, AlphaSMS, or other services that can be connected to Torgsoft software (more services — via this link).

When using the additional «Customer interaction system» option, it is also possible to send messages to clients from the «Marketing → Contacts and reminders» form (with the «Mass mailing SMS and e-mail» option active).
