Torgsoft Pixel Perfect

• Create a folder with product photos.
• Copy it to the computer where Torgsoft Pixel Perfect will be installed in a folder convenient for you, for example, C:\NewPhotos.
• Create a new folder to store the original photos, for example, C:\OriginalPhotos.
• Launch the Torgsoft Pixel Perfect program.
• In the Settings tab, specify the path to the folder with the unpacked photos (C:\NewPhotos) and the path to the folder where the originals are stored (C:\OriginalPhotos).
• Click Sync and start editing your photos.

• Go to the Photos tab. The entire list of photos and additional filters for them are located on the left side of the screen.
• Select photos by name, view them, sort them, and filter them for further processing.

• To make photos the same size, select Global Filter. Filters are located on the right side of the screen.
• For an online store, we recommend photos with a maximum size of 1800px, so we set the limit to 1800px in Torgsoft Pixel Perfect. This means that if the photo size is larger, this filter will reduce it, taking into account the aspect ratio.
• Fill color — choose as you wish, the standard color is white.
• JPG compression quality is usually: 80-90% (in practice, 85% is optimal).
• Select the Remove Background filter, choose the General, Remove and Center options.
• Apply the Frame filter, select the desired ratio.
• Once you've set the photo settings you want, click Process Selected or Process All.

Switch to the Remove Background filter. We use this filter for almost all images.

• The filter removes the background and replaces it with the specified fill color.
• Use the General option. You can also choose the "For people" option, which is better at finding people in the photo.
• Next, select "Background and Centering" and specify a 15-20% margin. When the background is successfully removed, the object will be positioned in the center of the image with the specified margin. This aligns the size and makes all the photos on the site look the same.

• To do this, disable all filters except the Global Filter, select the Linear option in the Photo Reduction Quality setting, and process the photo.
• The quality of the photo will be preserved, but its size will be reduced.

1. In the Global Filter, select the Balanced option in the Photo Reduction Quality setting.
2. In the Enlarge filter, select High Quality and click on Processing.

• Frame: this tool changes the aspect ratio and size of the photo to the specified size. The original image remains unchanged. The filter works well with background removal, when you need to radically change the ratio, the new area will be painted in the color specified in the Global Filter.
• Color Correction: the filter automatically corrects color, contrast, and brightness, improving photos with off-color white balance and contrast problems.
• Sharpness: the program will improve the clarity of lines and corners, sharpen the image without increasing noise. The recommended sharpness level is 0.3-0.6.
• Watermark: a tool for placing a protective watermark (logo) on an image. Select a photo, specify the location and placement of the mark, the size relative to the original, and the transparency level of the watermark.
• Color Compression: this filter removes intermediate shades and brings the image to a single color palette. This is used to compress an image. To avoid sharp transitions and artifacts after compression, you can activate the filter's antialiasing mode. You can adjust the level of antialiasing with the slider.
