Selling goods with and without barcodes
Live flowers, seedlings, some seed packages, and fertilizers often do not have barcodes. Therefore, agro-market owners have to work with unmarked goods. Such products can be sold without barcode labels by selecting them manually in the sales window.
However, it is more convenient to purchase a label printer and mark products with adhesive price tags. These labels contain a barcode that can be scanned with a barcode scanner. This allows sales to be completed in seconds, and inventory checks to be conducted quickly and without confusion.
Potted plants, vases, fertilizers, and souvenirs can be scanned using factory barcodes or custom barcodes. If a product has a barcode, it can be entered into the database using the factory barcode. If there is no barcode, the software will generate one and print it on a label. The label with the barcode should then be attached to the product.
