Flower shop automation involves accounting for piece goods with and without barcode marking, goods in rolls, goods by weight, sale of sets and dismantling. Let's consider each option separately.

 Live flowers, seedlings, some seed packages, and fertilizers often do not have barcodes. Therefore, agro-market owners have to work with unmarked goods. Such products can be sold without barcode labels by selecting them manually in the sales window. 

However, it is more convenient to purchase a label printer and mark products with adhesive price tags. These labels contain a barcode that can be scanned with a barcode scanner. This allows sales to be completed in seconds, and inventory checks to be conducted quickly and without confusion.

Potted plants, vases, fertilizers, and souvenirs can be scanned using factory barcodes or custom barcodes. If a product has a barcode, it can be entered into the database using the factory barcode. If there is no barcode, the software will generate one and print it on a label. The label with the barcode should then be attached to the product.

The scales are suitable for weighing goods up to 30 kg. If the weight is higher:

• The product is weighed on industrial scales. The price per kilogram is set in the Torgsoft software, and the weight of the sold product is entered in the «Sales» window. The program automatically calculates the total amount to be paid and deducts the product from stock after the sale.

• Sacks can be recorded, for example, in 25 kg units, and then broken down in the Torgsoft software. Afterward, they can be packed in 1 kg portions and sold by the kilogram. With this approach, specialized scales are not required, and simple, inexpensive scales can be used instead.

For selling goods in packages and individually, the complete goods sales mode will come in handy. After opening one of the packages, its contents automatically go to the warehouse and the goods can be sold individually, writing off the corresponding quantity from the warehouse. In this case, one price can be set for the individual goods, and another for the package, not necessarily equal to the total cost of its components.

 Garden centers typically occupy a large retail space. Some products are stored in refrigerators, some in warehouses, some in the sales area, and others are placed outdoors. Bringing bulky items or outdoor products to the checkout for inventory or sales every time is not very convenient.

There are two options for scanning, selling, and inventorying products in such conditions:

1. Using a wireless scanner. It can be directly connected to the software, and when scanning, the product information is immediately transferred to the database. For example, the wireless range of the Netum NT-C6 reaches up to 20 meters in open space. If the connection is interrupted, the scanner stores the product information in its internal memory and then uploads all collected data when reconnected to the computer. The Netum NT-C6 can store up to a million barcodes in its memory.

2. In the Torgsoft mobile app. Products can be sold and inventory can be conducted directly from a smartphone by scanning the barcode using the device's camera. Additionally, the app allows users to take product photos for uploading to the database, monitor employees, analyze sales, track warehouse stock, quickly update inventory, and much more.
