Once the beer weight is recorded in the system from the scales, sales can begin. Labels for draft beverages can be printed in advance. Labels can be printed in advance. If the cost of the container is not included in the total beer price, print one label for each bottle type and place them in the checkout area near the barcode scanner so the cashier can add the bottle as a separate item in the sale.

Each type of beer is assigned a separate roll of identical barcode labels. This roll of labels is necessary for marking bottles at the time of pouring. This method applies to all individual items that cannot have tags attached.
