The process of selling goods in the Torgsoft program usually takes place via the "Realization" mode. This is the main workspace for the salesperson/cashier.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make a sale:
1. Opening the Sales Mode
Go to the main menu item Document — Realization. When opening the form, a new realization document is created automatically.
2. Client Identification (Optional)
If the customer has a discount card, it must be scanned before adding goods (the cursor must be in the "Barcode/Art" field).
Scanning: simply scan the card's barcode with the scanner.
Manually: press the Select Client button or Ctrl + K keys to find the customer in the list by surname or phone number.
Note: This allows for automatic calculation of discounts or bonuses.
3. Adding Goods to the Receipt
The goods must be previously received into stock. You can add them to the realization in several ways:
Scanner. Scan the item's barcode. If the quantity is more than one unit, you can scan it multiple times.
Manually from warehouse. Press the Select goods from warehouse button (key F11) or Select goods from warehouse by type (Ctrl + F11). In the window that appears, find the required item and click "Select".
Change quantity. If you need to sell several units of the same item, press the Change button (key F3) on the selected item row and enter the required quantity manually.
Mass selection. The Ctrl + Q combination allows you to select multiple items from the warehouse and specify their quantity.
4. Payment
After forming the list of goods, press the Pay button (or F6 key). The "Payment" window will open, where you can choose the payment method:
Cash: enter the amount received from the customer in the "Received" field. The program will automatically calculate the change.
Cashless payment: check the "Cashless payment" box. Select the current account or terminal where the funds will be received from the list.
If a bank terminal is connected to the program, the amount is transferred to the terminal automatically.
If the terminal is not connected, the amount on the terminal must be entered manually, and the payment confirmed in the program.
Mixed payment: you can enter part of the amount in cash and the remainder via cashless payment.
Bonuses: if the client has bonuses, you can select the "Pay with bonuses" option.
5. Completing the Sale
Press the PAY button in the payment window.
If a Software ECR (PRRO) or fiscal registrar is connected, the program will automatically print a fiscal receipt (subject to appropriate settings in Torgsoft).
If printing of non-fiscal receipts is configured, the printer will print a sales receipt.
The goods will be written off from the warehouse, and the money credited to the cash register.
Other Sales Options:
1
Wholesale (via invoice). The Document — Trade with Invoice Issuance mode is used. Here you create an invoice (bill), form an expenditure note based on it, and record the payment.
2
Via mobile app. In the Torgsoft mobile app, the "Realization" mode is used. The process is similar: scanning goods with the camera or selecting from a list → button "Pay" → choose payment method (cash/card).
3
Selling services. Services are sold in the same way as goods; they can be selected from the full list of goods and services.
4
Selling on credit (VIP clients). If a client is assigned VIP status, the option to sell on credit (product loan) is available in the payment window.
Important: If you are just starting work, ensure that the goods have been entered via an incoming invoice (Goods Receipt), otherwise there will be zero balance in the warehouse (although selling "into the negative" can be enabled in settings).
