How to work with a bank POS terminal to accept card payments?

The bank terminal can be connected to Torgsoft and the program will exchange data between the terminal and the accounting program, control the payment process through the terminal, and record the sale after receiving payment for the goods.

1. Activate the Torgsoft option "Connecting a bank terminal"

2. Connect the terminal to a router or computer

3. Install the drivers

A banking terminal can operate under different protocols. You can find out which protocol your bank terminal works under from the bank's specialists.

For bank terminals with BPOS, PosApi, WebSocket/JSON, or SSIAxECR protocols:

1. Activate the additional option "Connecting a bank terminal" for each cash register that has a bank terminal installed (the first 30 days — free of charge). 

2. Connect the terminal to one of the devices: 

• to the router — via WiFi or Ethernet port by cable 

• to a computer — via COM/USB — the terminal usually comes with a cable for connecting to a computer

3. Request drivers and libraries from the bank to connect the terminal:

For BPOS — drivers for the terminal and the ECRCommX.dll library.

PosApi is a 64-bit or 32-bit terminal driver depending on the Windows bit depth, Posapi.dll is always 32-bit.

WebSocket/JSON — terminal driver and genericDiverJsonETH.exe files for connection via Ethernet, genericDiverJsonUSB.exe — for connection via COM/USB.

SSIAxECR — driver and library file AxECR2017_x990.dll.

4. Configure the bank terminal according to the instructions for the appropriate BPOS, PosApi, WebSocket/JSON.

5. For the program to transmit sales information to the fiscal service and print fiscal receipts with all the necessary details, the bank terminal can be paired with a cash register (free for 30 days in case of the first activation).
