How to edit, join and delete customer cards in Torgsoft?

In the Torgsoft program, the customer card stores all the personal information provided by the customer, purchase history, correspondence, communication with managers, etc. In the «Marketing ㅡ Customers» menu, customer cards can be edited, merged, and deleted.

How to edit a customer card?

Select a customer ⟶ click Edit ⟶ a window with information about the customer will open ⟶ edit any data in it. If you are changing the client's name, click the up arrow and «Yes» next to the respective fields to confirm the changes. To save the changes to the client's card ㅡ click «Save».

How to delete a customer?

Select the customer ⟶ click «Clear discount card» ⟶ «Yes» ⟶ «Continue».
The program will delete all personal information about the customer. The history of his purchases and returns will be saved in the accounting program as from an unspecified customer, and the card will be depersonalized: without a name, contacts, and any other personal information. Such a card can be used again, for example, when a customer wants to pass his or her discount card to one of his or her relatives or friends.

How to merge customer cards?

Select the customer to merge cards ⟶ click the «Merge customer with another» button ⟶ select the customer with whom you want to merge the previous one ㅡ Select ㅡ Yes ㅡ Continue. The program will merge their purchase history into one card and delete the first selected customer. This is necessary, for example, when a customer accidentally has 2 cards.
