If you accidentally sent a large document to be printed not to the office printer, but to a receipt printer, for example, then:

  1. Turn off the receipt printer.

  2. In Windows, find the printer icon at the bottom right.

  3. Right-click on it and select Open All Active Printers.

  4. Cancel a print: In the print queue window, select the document you want to cancel, right-click on it, and select Cancel.

OR

  1. Open Devices and Printers. Press the Windows key, type Devices and Printers, and then select this menu item.

  2. Find the printer that printed the document.

  3. View the print queue. Right-click the printer icon and select View Print Queue.

  4. Cancel the document. In the print queue window, select the document you want to cancel. Right-click on it and select Cancel.

  5. If the document is not canceled. Sometimes a document gets stuck in the queue. In this case, try right-clicking on the document again and selecting Undo again. If this doesn't help, continue to the next step.

  6. Restart the print service. If the document is stuck and won't cancel, you can try restarting the print service. To do this, press the Windows key, type "services.MSC", and press Enter. In the services window, find the Print Spooler or Print Management Service, right-click on it, and select Restart.

  7. Cancel the print again. After the print service restarts, return to the print queue window and try to cancel the document again.
