When is this needed?

A new store or retail point is opening.
Records were not kept previously or were kept manually.

  • Lack of structured accounting of goods and stock.
  • No understanding of what equipment and license are needed.
  • Need to prepare the cash register for fiscalization.

  • Lack of basic technical infrastructure (PC, peripherals).
  • Initial steps not performed: product categories, initial stock, labeling.

Prepare the hardware

Minimum set for one cash register:

  • Computer / Laptop: Windows 10 / 11 (Win 7/8 allowed but not recommended), CPU 2+ cores, 8 GB RAM, SSD.
  • Barcode scanner: For sales and inventory.
  • Receipt printer: Width 57 mm or 80 mm (receipts or fiscal checks).
  • Label printer: For labeling goods without barcodes.

Choose a program license

  • Start: One cash register, basic accounting, no network.
  • Ultra: Full functionality, local network operation.
  • Terminal: For store chains (operation via the Internet).

Perform initial setup

  • Install Torgsoft.
  • Specify store name, accounting currency, configure roles (Seller/Owner).

Systematize and enter goods

  • Create a product category tree.
  • Perform stock-in (manually or import from Excel).
  • Print labels.

Configure fiscalization and payments

  • Software RRO (PRRO): connect key (.dat/.jks/.zs2), register the cash register with the State Tax Service via the program.
  • Bank terminal: configure protocol (JSON/EFTPOS) for receipt amount transmission.

How to check the result

  • Scanner reads the item into the sale.
  • Printer prints a receipt with the amount.
  • Item is deducted from stock, money is added to the cash register.

Prevention

Configure automatic database backup (to Google Drive or USB flash drive).
Connect PC via UPS.
Do not start sales without entering initial stock.
