Torgsoft Hybrid: check synchronization and offline work
Instructions for cases when Torgsoft Hybrid is working in offline mode, and after the Internet connection is restored, receipts do not synchronize with the server. Describes forced synchronization, common causes of failures, and ECR offline limitations.
When synchronization is needed after offline mode
-
The Internet connection at the retail location has been restored, but the program remains in offline mode.
-
The packet (operation) queue is not decreasing.
-
ECR receipts ECR are not fiscalized or do not reach the central database.
Signs that synchronization has not resumed
-
The status bar displays «Offline mode: Activated».
-
The synchronization packet counter is > 0 and does not change.
-
Errors such as Connection timeout or PackageValidationError appear.
-
New sales are missing from the main database.
Common causes
-
The first sale was not made in online mode.
-
Synchronization cache failure (the program does not detect that the connection has been restored).
-
The server data exchange service is inactive or frozen.
-
The cash day is closed in the main database.
-
Network restrictions (IPv6 when using mobile Internet).
-
The ECR offline operation limit has been exceeded ECR (36 hours).
What to do
Step 0. First authorization and first sale — online only
Perform the first authorization and the first sale in online mode so that the sale is transmitted to the server. After that, you can work in offline mode.
Step 1. Force synchronization by clearing the cache
-
On the main Hybrid screen, open «Technical synchronization information».
-
In the «Clearing information in cache» section, click «All information».
-
Wait 1–2 minutes and check the packet counter.
Step 2. Restart the user session
-
Completely close the Torgsoft (Hybrid) program.
-
Launch it again and log in using the same username and password as in the main database.
Step 3. Check the server service
This is performed on the server with the main database.
-
Open Services.msc.
-
Find the TorgSoftService service.
-
Restart the service and repeat synchronization.
Step 4. Remove network restrictions when using mobile Internet
If 4G/mobile Internet provider is used:
-
Disable IPv6 in the properties of the Windows network adapter.
-
Leave only IPv4 enabled.
-
Restart the PC.
How to check the result
-
The status changes to «Online».
-
The packet queue equals 0, and there are no already transmitted packets left in the queue.
-
New receipts appear in the central database without delay.
How to avoid the problem
-
Do not exceed 36 hours of continuous ECR offline operation.
-
If the Internet connection is weak, disable automatic loading of product photos.
-
Monitor free disk space (at least 2–3 GB).
-
Periodically check that the cash day is open in the main database.
-
For successful synchronization packet transfer, there must be Internet access and connection to the database.
Summary
If packets are not synchronized after the Internet connection is restored:
clear the cache → restart the program → check the server service → check the network.
