What is UCFEA?

The Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UCFEA) is an important system for classifying goods in Ukraine. It is used for customs clearance, taxation, and foreign trade statistics. Each product has a unique ten-digit code that allows it to be unambiguously identified in the international trade system.

Why are UCFEA codes needed?

1. Customs clearance. UCFEA codes help determine customs rates, benefits, and restrictions on the import and export of goods.
2. Tax accounting. They are used to accurately calculate taxes and fees associated with the sale of goods.
3. Foreign trade statistics. Codes allow analyzing the structure and volumes of goods import and export.

What are the UCFEA codes?

UCFEA codes are divided into sections, groups, product positions, and subpositions. The first six digits correspond to the international system of goods classification (Harmonized System), and the last four digits are added for more detailed classification of goods in Ukraine.

How does it work in the Torgsoft mobile app?

1. Opening the "Product Arrival" section. In the Torgsoft mobile app, go to the "Product Arrival" section.
2. Adding a new product. When adding a new product, a field for entering the UCFEA code will appear.
3. Entering the code. Enter the UCFEA code in the appropriate field. The app will automatically check the validity of the entered code.
4. Completion of registration. Continue registering the arrival of goods by filling in the other necessary fields.

Important to know:

• The "UCFEA" field is optional at the time of adding the product. You can enter or correct the code later.
• The mobile app validates the entered code, which helps avoid errors and ensure data accuracy.

1. Importers and exporters. Entrepreneurs engaged in international trade will find it convenient to instantly enter UCFEA codes for new products.
2. Excise goods sellers. For businesses dealing with excisable goods (alcohol, tobacco, etc.), this function is essential to comply with legal requirements.
