Online Market Capabilities

Torgsoft Online Market allows you to create an online store in one day, thanks to integration with the Torgsoft database. This facilitates rapid synchronization of product information. The platform combines CRM and accounting program features, enabling efficient management of the entire trading process — from ordering to selling goods online.

Torgsoft Online Market ensures automatic data synchronization without the need for additional development. Product information is always up-to-date, both offline and online, including prices, quantities, sizes, and other characteristics.

The platform is equipped with SEO tools for effective promotion of products in search engines. This includes automatic creation of titles, descriptions, integration with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, and Google Shopping for analyzing the effectiveness of the store.

The website design can be easily customized to meet client needs, providing convenience for users. The connection of third-party services, such as social networks and online chats, allows attracting more visitors and optimizing the order acceptance process.

Performance

  • Improved memory allocation system, reduced the number of internal system processes.
  • Fixed an issue with memory filling during synchronization of large photo volumes.
  • Overall, TOM consumes less memory, positively impacting the entire system.

Synchronization

  • Optimized the re-synchronization of photos that could take a long time, even if nothing had changed. Content analysis of photos is now performed only for modified photos, and synchronization with minor changes is significantly faster.
  • Thanks to memory performance improvements, the photo synchronization delay is reduced to 50 ms. 1000 photos now upload to the Admin Panel in 4 minutes instead of 15 minutes.

Feeds and Sitemap

  • Added support for Google Merchant Center (opens in a new tab) feed in the Content Manager > Feeds and Sitemap. The format is XML based on the RSS 2.0 specification.
  • Added the ability to generate a feed report. The report provides useful information, such as how many products were prepared, how many failed important checks like missing photos, descriptions, or critical attributes. This report can be useful for identifying general issues with filling in product cards.
  • Added the ability to select only the required categories for all feeds.
  • Additional settings are available for the Google Merchant feed, such as linking attributes for age groups and gender for clothing products. It is also possible to link categories to specific Google Merchant category numbers.
  • In the Content Manager > Feeds and Sitemap, added links to the sitemap, the Hotline / eCatalog feed, and the Google Merchant feed. Links for direct download of the Hotline and Google Merchant feeds and their reports are also included.
  • Feed preparation is now performed without blocking the execution of critical functions in the Admin Panel.
  • Due to the addition of the Google Merchant feed, it is now possible to disable JSON-Ld generation for the product page. This can speed up the loading of the product page.

Website Builder

  • Added a new visual element, Magnifier. It can be activated in the product page settings. When hovering over a product, the user will see the original, uncompressed image magnified. The element can operate in two modes: magnification displayed over the image or beside it. The magnifier is fully adapted to all internal optimizations and will work optimally in sliders, standard, and adapted images.
  • The preview system has been redesigned. In the style builder, you can launch a preview version of the site. Element previews now match what is displayed on the site. The experience of viewing pages like product or home pages has also significantly improved.
  • Optimized theme color management. Control elements now load quickly.
  • Fixed an issue with the inability to use Google fonts. All fonts with Cyrillic support now work correctly.
  • Updated the link to the Google fonts page with Cyrillic support.
  • Font information is now collected based on both @import and <style> tags.
  • Added the ability to adjust aspect ratios for displaying images in the slider on the homepage.

Notifications

  • Added a notification when synchronization is canceled due to an unfinished ongoing synchronization.

TOM v1.7.0 Update

General Features

  • CMS/Site (Wholesale): Wholesale modes have been implemented. When the wholesale mode is active, a message about the availability of the wholesale price and the quantity required for the order will appear on the product page. The product card will indicate that the product has a wholesale price. When using the cart and placing an order, the wholesale price, the required quantity, and the status of its use will also be displayed. In the CMS/Product section, you can activate the wholesale mode:

  1. For everyone: wholesale prices are visible to all users.

  2. For registered users: wholesale prices are visible only to registered users.

  3. For allowed users: wholesale prices are visible only to users authorized for wholesale.

  • CMS/Site (Authorization): Added the ability to log in without a password. During login, a code will be sent to the client's contact email. This feature can be activated in the CMS/Server section.

  • CMS (Settings/Orders): Added the ability to specify a minimum order amount on the site.

  • CMS (Settings/Product): Added the ability to activate the display of product quantities on the product page.

  • CMS (Photos): Sorting by photo name has been disabled, as it could cause sorting discrepancies with Torgsoft.

Site Application Features

  • Site (User Profile): Added the ability to change the password in account settings. Improved the contact settings form. Enhanced management of favorites: when clicking the cart icon in favorites, you will be redirected to the order page.

  • Site (Category Desktop): When there are a large number of categories, the application now automatically converts the vertical scroll to horizontal when the user hovers over the menu. This allows for easier navigation through categories without manual horizontal scrolling, and a progress bar is displayed during scrolling.

  • Site (Orders): Error messages related to orders now include the name of the product causing the error.

  • Site (Recently Viewed Products): Recently viewed items can now be added to the cart even if there are other items in the cart. On the homepage, recently viewed items are now displayed at the bottom.

  • Site (Horizontal Slider): Added buttons to scroll through slides.

  • Site (Slider): Improved the layout for displaying a large number of slider thumbnails when displayed on the left side.

  • Site (Optimization): Optimized the loading of icons and large parts of the site. Optimized category loading on desktop. The TBT and NIP score for product pages improved by 300 milliseconds on mobile devices.

Other

  • Indexing: Indexing of _rsc parts of pages has been blocked, as this is a technical part of the site. This will reduce the crawl budget for bots. After the update, there may be a warning in Google Search Console about the blocking of previously indexed pages, which is normal.

  • Documentation Update. We have updated and expanded the documentation, and now in the Torgsoft section, detailed instructions are available on how to prepare product types and categories, how to create characteristics, how to work with product models, product groups, and much more.

Layout and Design

  • Filters and Sorting. Improved layout for mobile devices. Filters and sorting are now displayed in a single row, saving space and improving user experience.

  • Categories. Two display options - vertical list with dropdown menu and horizontal list. The horizontal list now also shows a dropdown menu and has a speed limit to avoid accidental quick transitions. This improves navigation.

  • Icons. Dynamically loaded icons no longer cause layout shifts during loading, making the interface more stable.

  • Slider. Fixed a bug where the slider could constantly show blurry versions of images. Now you can configure the thumbnail display side (bottom or left), providing greater customization flexibility.

  • Photos. Added photo compression quality settings from 65 to 100. Torgsoft Online Market (TOM) automatically adapts photo quality and size, improving page loading speed.

  • Color Checkbox. Improved display of dual colors, which now appear as a gradient instead of two circles, making the appearance more aesthetic.

Site Builder Capabilities

  • Categories. New settings for category button appearance, text sizes, hover styles, shadows, rounding, and spacing. You can choose a color scheme and limit the list size. Categories are optimized and ready for use. Added the ability to embed content on all product pages in a category. This allows multiple embedded descriptions, including descriptions with the presence of product characteristics.

  • Product Card. Additional settings for managing appearance, including spacing, shadows, text sizes, and icons. Added the ability to enable adaptive images for product cards, improving the appearance of products on different devices.

  • Product Page. Ability to choose adaptive images and configure slider behavior. This includes enabling/disabling thumbnails, arrows, and auto-slide, making pages more dynamic.

  • Caching. Choose between static and dynamic caching for product pages and individual products. Static caching saves HTML for frequently visited pages, improving loading speed. Dynamic caching prepares HTML for each user, reducing memory load but increasing CPU load. This improves site efficiency.

Functionality

  • Product Characteristics. A unified dynamic characteristics system is now used, eliminating the difference between special and dynamic characteristics. In the synchronization file settings, change the column names of special characteristics to the same with the addition of "_dp" (e.g., "Color_dp"). This reduces the number of items in the admin panel, simplifies synchronization, and reduces site size. Characteristics can be used for side filters, short summaries, characteristic tables, and product models. This provides more flexible and convenient data management.

  • Side Filter Performance. Significantly accelerated filter preparation. For example, preparing 600 values now takes 20 milliseconds instead of 1 second, improving site speed.

  • Usability. Remembering the last filter and the last used value improves filter usability, eliminating page "jumps" during filtering.

  • Implicit Functionality. Preloading content for other pages when hovering over a link improves side filter performance, providing faster access to information.

Synchronization and Product Photos

  • Synchronization. Synchronizations with product deletions are now blocked. Deletion is possible only with confirmation in the admin panel. This prevents accidental deletion of important data, improving security.

  • Product Photos. Accelerated loading of photos and other site resources by 100 milliseconds, making site use more comfortable.

Cache Updates

  • Fixed synchronization error with a large number of changes. Optimized cache performance under high loads. Further optimization of the cache update system is planned in future updates, ensuring even better site performance.

Feed Settings

  • Added feed customization options, including activation/deactivation of categories not needed for the feed. Hotline feed is now supported, Google Merchant support is being prepared, expanding integration capabilities with other platforms.

Content and SEO

  • Advertising. Removed separate advertising section. Advertising moved to the "Content" section, making content management easier.

  • Product Filter. Added the ability to specify one or more characteristics for product selection. The filter can now select products not only by categories, novelty, and period but also by characteristics. Added the ability to configure product filter display as a grid or horizontal scroll bar, improving filter usability.

  • SEO Characteristics. Instead of directly specifying part of the URL for the characteristic, you can now select this characteristic from the list. This simplifies SEO management for characteristics.

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed price range display bugs, page counter, feed category formation, and endless page loading when opening a link in a new window. These fixes make the site more stable and convenient for users.

Torgsoft Pixel Perfect - Photo Correction Software

Enhanced background removal and creation of final composition. This process is faster now.

Image size optimization: a new feature allows you to initially reduce the image size and then enhance its quality using artificial intelligence. This makes the process faster.

Global filter for image sizes: now you can choose which image size to reduce — height, width, automatically the smaller or larger side.

Progressive JPEG: added the ability to create progressive JPEGs, which reduce the overall file size and allow browsers to load images with gradually improving quality.

Choice of image downscaling quality:

  • high quality - heavier file weight with clearer fine details; on small repetitive patterns, a moire pattern may appear,

  • balanced - preserves details, file size is average between linear and high quality, significantly smaller moire pattern for small repetitive patterns,

  • linear - the image will be lighter, but fine details may lose clarity.

Background removal filter with shadow option: shadows can be added to objects with a choice of shadow color. Various types of shadows are available - normal and contact. Normal shadow can be adjusted by horizontal and vertical shift, blur, and transparency. Contact shadow is generated automatically, and its parameters are created based on the size of the object, ensuring a consistent look of the shadow regardless of the image size.

Automatic image orientation. After processing, orientation information will be removed to reduce file size.

Color conversion: if the image has an embedded color profile, it will be converted and removed after processing to save space.

Control over photo compression: you can specify a file size threshold above which compression will be applied. For example, if a photo does not exceed 100 KB, it will not be unnecessarily compressed. This will prevent the quality of the photo from being degraded by excessive compression.

Enhancing photo quality with artificial intelligence: the new AI can quickly double the quality of the image, significantly increasing its clarity.

Perfect background removal: the updated AI model provides flawless background removal, accurately trimming contours even on complex images.

Synchronizations

Synchronization error fixes:

  • Duplication of dynamic attributes: fixed an error that could lead to repeated values of these attributes.

  • Duplication of photographs: removed a problem that caused the same photos to be uploaded repeatedly.

  • Synchronization of dynamic attributes: fixed a synchronization error that occurred with a large number of dynamic attributes.

Improvements in synchronization:

  • Synchronization file check: if problems are detected, the CMS system now blocks the start of synchronization until they are resolved and also reports synchronization errors in Torgsoft.

  • Notifications of errors during synchronization: an additional message appears with information about the possible cause and the number of already synchronized products.

  • Synchronization statuses: added more statuses to help users better understand at which stage the synchronization process is.

CMS and Website

Website caching system

The website caching system is a crucial part of the system that affects the speed of operation and the load on the CMS database. It can now determine whether changes occur through synchronization or through user actions in the CMS, and accordingly optimizes page updates. This allows less frequent cache updating while maintaining the timeliness of information on the website. In the future, you will be able to choose how to update the cache: after a certain time, immediately after changes in the CMS, or combining both methods.

Scaling CMS and website

The CMS and website can now scale horizontally within a single server. This means that as your site begins to attract more visitors and requires more resources, the system can effectively distribute the load, helping to handle large volumes of information. This also makes your site more reliable and ready for growth, expanding it across multiple servers.

These improvements make your online store faster and able to adapt to the needs of a growing business.

Features and Filters

Setting features: you can decide separately whether certain features will be used in filters, summaries, feature tables, or product models.

Priority of features: set the priority for each feature to control where it will appear in the list. Higher priority moves the feature up the list.

Displaying product models: on the product page, models are displayed according to the set priority. The system will try to match models with similar features for different colors.

Colors for features: you can assign colors to dynamic features, which will help easily identify specific colors.

Color table for filters: in the filter settings, you can set colors for features, and the system will automatically apply them, turning them into color buttons on the site.

Side filter movement: for user convenience, the selected filter automatically moves to the top of the list. 

Small, but nice changes that make working with CMS more comfortable

Setting the order of categories: you can easily set the order of categories in CMS, which is especially convenient with a large number of categories. This simplifies navigation and management.

Previewing unpublished content: added the ability to preview unpublished content directly from CMS, using a special link. This allows you to see what an article will look like on the website before its publication.

Setting the caching time for photographs: in CMS, you can set the caching time in minutes, with a recommendation to choose longer periods to preserve the cache. Three days is set by default.

HTML editor update: added more standard sizes for text and images, providing more options for formatting pages.

Setting categories for grouping pages in the footer: pages can be grouped by themes. For example, a sales contract, return goods agreement can be grouped into a category "Offer Contracts" - such pages will be grouped in one column.

New photo synchronization system:

  • Duplicate photo detection: the system can now recognize duplicate images and synchronize only one original, significantly reducing the number of photos on the site. For example, if previously 100 photos (10 models with 10 photos each) were needed for 10 models of products with the same photos, now only 10 photos are sufficient.

  • Image content analysis: Torgsoft Online Market checks images and synchronizes only new or changed product photos.

Improved synchronization of dynamic characteristics: fixed errors that could lead to incorrect synchronization of dynamic characteristics. Moreover, the synchronization itself has become much faster.

Synchronization file check allows finding out what problems are hindering data exchange. The check has become stricter and more reliable. Also, the file check now works much faster. The synchronization file check now displays the cause of the error in the "Torgsoft" section in CMS. Also, the synchronization status, percentage of product and photo synchronization are now displayed during synchronization.

Advertising and informational blocks: 

  • Creating tabs with content: now you can add your own tabs with text or other elements to your site.

  • Content placement in the layout: you have the ability to decide where on the page your texts, images, or videos will appear.

  • Creating a background: you can set a background for certain sections of the site or for the whole page in general.

  • Adding a countdown element: this feature allows you to set a timer, for example, for promotional offers.

  • Product filter so users can easily find products based on specific criteria.

These tools can be used on the main page, category pages, and product pages, making your site more personalized and convenient for visitors.

Dynamic product filter formation on the search page: filters are formed taking into account the query. When selecting a product by a certain characteristic, those filters that do not match the query will disappear.

Price list for Hotline: added automatic generation of HotlineFeed at the link /feed/hotline.xml (beta).

Improved the formation of prefixes for characteristics: if a characteristic has a prefix from Torgsoft, a prefix from CMS will not be added again.

Improved convenience of working with categories:

  • Automatic closing of dropdown categories: if a category is not being used, it now closes automatically.

  • Dropdown categories in the form of columns: all categories, regardless of the level of nesting, are now displayed in the form of columns.

  • Long filter names on two lines: if a filter name is long, it now occupies two lines instead of one.

The site loads faster, thanks to the new caching system. Even with a slow internet connection, the online store will load sequentially, and the visitor will not experience any inconvenience or waiting when using the online store.

Enhanced CMS interaction with the website: the content management system (CMS) now updates website data more efficiently - it reduces the number of update requests and lowers the load on resources, which improves the overall performance of the site.

Protection against incorrect redirects: the system prevents infinite and erroneous redirects for pages with unique URLs, such as categories, products, regular pages, and blogs. Protection against incorrect redirects ensures that when you click links on the site, you always get exactly where you need to be. This provides stability in site browsing.

SEO optimization for the product list page:

  • Sped up page loading, which requires fewer server resources.

  • Added a "noindex" tag to pages with filters and other content different from the main page. This informs search engines not to index these pages, except those with a unique description.

Creating a custom site design using the style builder. Now elements such as buttons, input fields, and product cards have received more settings for creating a unique design.

Convenience of working with text: the text editor opens to the full length of the publication. For the convenience of content managers - for publishing articles and product descriptions.

Text editing safety: in the text editor, spaces have been added between the link to the page and the delete article button in the CMS to prevent accidentally deleting an article during editing and publication.

Email support on the website: a new email plugin has been implemented, which currently offers standard templates for password reset, account confirmation, and internal notifications about orders.
