Viber Messaging Program
From the Torgsoft accounting program, you can send messages to Viber based on your client database.
This is handled by the «Mass Mailing» feature.
To use Viber messaging for business, you will need:
- Torgsoft accounting program for the store:
Ultra version for a single store — 17990 UAH,
or Terminal, if you have a network of stores — 41000 UAH.
- Additional «Mass Mailing» option — 0 UAH.
- An account on the TurboSMS mailing service
- Agreement with TurboSMS + first month of Viber usage — 8,400 UAH.
Why is Viber messaging needed?
Viber messaging from a company involves stylized messages that you can send to a large client base. Such messages are opened much more often than e-mails or SMS: Viber is the most popular messenger — 96% of users in Ukraine use it.
Importantly, branded messages are not blocked by Viber, unlike single identical messages from a regular number.
How much does Viber messaging cost?
Monthly payments to TurboSMS for messaging are 8,400 UAH.
Torgsoft does not charge any additional fees.
How many messages can be sent?
With a budget of 8,400 UAH per month, you can send transactional and promotional messages.
Transactional — these are textual informational messages, for example, about sending an invoice, receiving payment, sending TTN, etc.
Promotional messages include images, text, and a button with a link.
How to do Viber messaging: 5 steps
- Register at TurboSMS
- Submit an application with a list of documents and sign an agreement with TurboSMS
- Wait for profile activation.
- Purchase and activate the additional «Mass Mailing» option in Torgsoft
- Send messages to the client base using the Torgsoft program.
Important nuances to know
In Ukraine, you cannot work directly with Rakuten Viber — only through authorized partners like TurboSMS.
The most difficult and longest stage is the registration of the name. This process is strictly controlled and bureaucratized by Viber. We registered and signed the agreement in two months. However, it is reported that registration takes place faster — from 3 to 30 days.
The name of your trademark is used once for one name in Viber. You cannot use the same name for another account or store — Viber strictly prevents this. If you have a network of ShoesLife stores in Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Odesa, then there will be only one account for the entire trading network — ShoesLife.
Use only square images: Viber cuts off rectangular ones.
The length of a Viber message should not exceed 1,000 characters. Torgsoft does not control the length of the message, so check the number of characters in advance, for example, in Google Translate.
