The calculation of the minimum balance is necessary to ensure that the store always has the necessary stock of the main products that generate the main income in case of delivery delays.
The minimum balance is calculated based on the delivery time specified by the user, sales results for the selected period, and information about the sale of goods before the next delivery.
To make the calculation accurate, you can exclude periods of promotional sales from the sales data in Torgsoft. When the quantity of goods in the warehouse reaches the minimum balance, this is a signal for the manager or commodity expert to plan a new order.

Calculating the maximum balance is important to avoid excess inventory in the warehouse, which "freezes" funds. Control over the maximum balance is needed when moving goods between stores of a retail chain or when distributing new deliveries.
The maximum balance is determined by Torgsoft based on the number of sales for the selected period and the current minimum balance. For a more accurate calculation, we recommend using the option "Minimum and maximum stock balance at each warehouse".

In Torgsoft, the calculation formulas can be adjusted to use different data, such as stock quantity, sales, etc. The choice whether to use the calculated values or not is up to the user.

• Data collection. Torgsoft analyzes sales history and delivery time to understand how often and in what quantity you need to order goods.
