To set up and start working with the mobile application, you need to follow 6 steps:

Step 1. Activate the "Mobile app" option

To activate the additional function "Mobile application" in the Torgsoft program, go to the menu Settings → List of additional functions → Option code 060 "Torgsoft mobile application".

Click the button:

• "Activate for 30 days" if you have not yet purchased a license for the mobile application and want to test the capabilities of the application,
• or "Activate" if you have already purchased the function: enter the activation code, which can be obtained from technical support, read and agree to the license agreement and click "Activate".

Step 2. Server port for the mobile application

In Torgsoft → Settings → Options → Service → Application server → Configure application server, you can see the port that will need to be opened in the firewall and on the router.

It is worth noting that for Torgsoft 2.0 and higher (for the Torgsoft accounting program version 2022.2.0), the application server port is 6002, and for the previous version of Torgsoft 2022.0.20 and lower - 6001.
The port can be changed if desired.

Step 3. Open the port in the firewall

Open the Windows Firewall in the Start menu → Control Panel → Windows Firewall → Advanced settings.

Create a rule for incoming and outgoing TCP port connections: left pane, Incoming Connection Rules → Create Rule: rule type "For port", data transfer protocol "TCP", local ports - enter server port 6001 (or 6002), specify the action "Allow connection", select all profiles, specify any name for the rule, for example, "6001TCP".

The rule for the outgoing connection is created in the same way.

Step 4. Open a port on the router

For a stable connection of the mobile application to the database, the Internet on the server must have a static, permanent IP address. You can order this option from your provider additionally.

To access the mobile application, you need to open port 6001 on your router. Each router has a unique interface - you can find the port forwarding settings by following the sample in the video tutorial or in the router manual.

Step 5. Grant access to users in the Torgsoft accounting program.

Each user can open certain menu items of the mobile application that are necessary only for him or her in the mobile application in Torgsoft → Settings → Users.

Step 6. Log in to the mobile application

Download the Torgsoft mobile application to your smartphone:

• for iPhone from the AppStore
• for Android from the PlayMarket

To configure the mobile application's access to the database, you need to know the external IP address of the computer where the Torgsoft program is installed. You can find the IP address on the 2ip.ua website.

Setting up access to the server on a smartphone

1. Open the application.
2. In the "Authorization" window, click on the "Databases" setting button.
3. Enter the IP address and port of the server.
4. Enter the login and password to log in to the mobile application, which is identical to the login and password to log in to the Torgsoft program (by default, in the demo version, the login for the owner is sa, the password is 2009).
5. Click "Update".
6. Select the required database from the list in the "Database" field, click "Log in".
7. The mobile application will automatically log in and display a list of available actions for accounting for goods from a smartphone.
