Torgsoft Mobile App — is an additional option that connects a smartphone or tablet to the accounting program and gives access to sales, warehouse, inventory, finances, and reports directly from the phone. It is needed when the owner wants to control the store remotely, and the seller needs to work with goods without a stationary computer. As a result, the smartphone becomes a mobile workplace for sales, warehouse, product photos, and reports — in connection with the main Torgsoft program.
The option is suitable for owners and managers who are often away from the store, and for employees who conduct inventory, post receipts, and photograph goods near the shelves or work in mobile trade. It solves a typical problem: to check revenue, stock balances, or perform stocktaking, you have to sit at the cash register computer or call the store.
When there is internet access, data is updated immediately: you see sales summaries and cash desk status, conduct inventory and transfers near the shelves, accept card payments via NFC, and issue fiscal PRRO receipts. Separate scenarios, such as inventory, can work offline after preliminary data loading. More than 20 working functions are available wherever you and your smartphone are.
Trade management and a seller's workplace in a smartphone
Sales, warehouse, inventory, finances, and staff control — from the phone, without being tied to the cash register computer.

What is a mobile app for goods accounting
The mobile app works in connection with the Torgsoft accounting program, which is installed on the server and where the main accounting is maintained. The phone connects to the database via the internet: data that you enter from the app immediately gets into the program, while reports and stock balances are pulled from it. Access to each function is configured separately for each user, so the owner can have full access, while the seller — only sales, returns, and clock-in registration.
Basic concepts
App server
A service on the computer with the database through which the phone exchanges data with Torgsoft.
Static IP address
An external address from the provider by which the phone finds your server on the network.
Software RRO
Fiscalization of sales from the phone: shift opening, receipts, Z-reports without a hardware RRO.
Tap payment
Acceptance of cashless payment by card or the customer's smartphone through the phone's NFC module.
Camera scanning
The phone camera reads product barcodes — a separate scanner is not needed for basic operations.
Access rights
A set of functions and actions that the owner allows a specific employee in the app.
Who this option is for
Owner on the road
Sees revenue, profit, cash desks, and stock balances for each store while traveling or abroad.
Mobile trade
Fairs, delivery, points without a cash register computer: sale, card payment, and PRRO receipt from the phone.
Warehouse and merchandising
Inventory, goods receipt, transfer, and write-off directly near the shelves, without walking to the computer.
Online store
Photographing goods for the catalog, receiving and issuing orders, controlling invoice payments.
Who does not need it. If all accounting is done on one cash register computer, the owner is constantly in the store, and there is no mobile trade or remote warehouse, the app is more of a convenience than a necessity. In this case, you can start without it and connect it later.
When to connect immediately
- Several stores or warehouses that need to be viewed from one phone.
- Mobile trade and delivery where card payment and a fiscal receipt are required.
- Active filling of the online store with product photos.
- Regular inventories of large or small piece goods.
What tasks the option solves
What it looks like before and after
Before
The owner calls the point to find out the revenue. The seller at the fair accepts only cash. Stocktaking is done on paper and then rewritten into the program. Product photos are collected on a camera and wait to be transferred to the computer.
After
Revenue and cash desks are visible on the phone immediately. On the road, the customer pays by card, and the fiscal receipt can be shown or sent to the customer. Inventory is done by scanning near the shelves. The photo is linked to the product at the moment of shooting.
How it works: 5 steps
Step 1. Connecting the option. The option is activated for your database and purchased separately for each mobile device.
Step 2. Server setup. On the computer with the database, the app server service is launched, a port is opened in the firewall and router, and the provider gives a static IP address.
Step 3. Logging into the app. The employee installs the app and logs in with the same username and password as in the PC program.
Step 4. Access setup. The owner sets in the program which modes are available to each user and whether prices can be changed from the phone.
Step 5. Work. The seller scans goods, accepts payment, and issues a receipt, while the owner views reports, finances, and controls staff.
Important. Any internet connection is suitable on the smartphone — Wi-Fi or mobile. But on the server with the database, a static external IP address from the provider is required; otherwise, the phone will not be able to find the database on the network. On iOS, the app must be separately allowed access to the local network.

Option capabilities
Scenarios by niche
Mobile trade and fairs
The seller processes a sale from the phone; with connected NFC acquiring, the customer pays by card, and the fiscal receipt can be shown or sent to the customer. A separate cash register computer for the point is not needed.
Store with a warehouse
The merchandiser posts bulky goods and conducts inventory by scanning near the shelves. Small goods are counted through «Ask quantity», without scanning each unit.
Chain under the owner's control
The owner on the road sees the revenue, cash desks, and stock balances of each point, records expenses in mobile operations, and checks the balance with suppliers from the phone.
Example
A clothing store with a small warehouse and participation in fairs. Before connecting, the owner called the point to find out the revenue, only cash was accepted at the fair, and stocktaking was done on paper and then manually rewritten into the program.
After connecting the app, the seller on the road accepts card payment via NFC and issues a fiscal receipt, inventory is conducted by scanning near the shelves, and new arrivals are photographed by phone — the images immediately go to the product card and to the website. The owner sees the sales of each point without leaving home. The example is illustrative.
Which options and equipment it works with
- Software RRO — fiscalization of sales and issuing receipts from the phone.
- Payroll and staff motivation — the «Employees» mode in the app works with this option.
- Product photography using a webcam — complements mobile shooting for filling the catalog.
- Product storage location — with the active option, the app is used in address storage processes; specific actions depend on the mode settings.
- Customer and discount card accounting — viewing bonuses and discounts during sale.
- A compatible smartphone or tablet with an NFC module for accepting card payments.
- External wireless scanners or data collection terminals (DCT) — as an alternative to the camera.
- If necessary — configured printing of receipts or documents according to the Torgsoft configuration.
Comprehensive automation. The mobile app is convenient to combine with PRRO, customer accounting, and payroll calculation: sale, fiscal receipt, bonuses, and staff control are maintained in one system, while the phone becomes its extension outside the stationary computer.
Price and connection terms
- Licenses. Works with Torgsoft Start, Torgsoft Ultra, and Torgsoft Terminal. In the Start version, some functions are limited according to the policy of this license.
- Connection. The option is installed on each mobile device regardless of the program version. Available from Torgsoft version 2018.4.1 (DB 482) and later.

Frequently asked questions
Can card payments be accepted directly on a smartphone, without a bank terminal?
Yes, if the corresponding service is connected. The app has integration with the «Terminal» service from PrivatBank and the monobank virtual terminal using Tap to Pay technology. A compatible smartphone with an NFC module works as a terminal: the customer taps a card or their gadget to your phone for payment.
Can the app issue fiscal receipts (work with PRRO)?
Yes, with PRRO configured for the mobile app. From the phone, you can open and close shifts, make cash deposits and withdrawals, generate Z-reports, and conduct fiscal sales. Receipts are generated in PDF format — they can be shown to the customer or sent in an available way.
Can products be photographed from the phone so that the photo immediately gets into the database and onto the website?
Yes, this is one of the most popular functions. Directly from the product card, you can take a photo with the camera or choose a photo from the gallery. Several photos from different angles can be added to one product, and they are automatically linked to the card.
How to do inventory if there are many small piece goods?
The smartphone camera can be used as a scanner. For small goods, there is the «Ask quantity» setting: you scan the barcode once and enter the manually counted quantity instead of scanning each unit separately.
Can goods be distributed across shelves (address storage) from the phone?
Yes, if the «Product storage location» option is active. Then the app is used in address storage processes, and specific actions depend on the settings of this mode.
How to control employees' arrival time so they do not check in for each other?
In the «Employee working day registration» mode, mandatory photo confirmation can be enabled. When scanning a badge, the camera opens for a selfie, and the owner checks these photos in the arrival log on the PC.
Does the app work without internet?
When there is a connection to the server, data is updated immediately. Separate scenarios, such as inventory, can work offline: the sheet is loaded in advance, the employee counts goods without connection, and then uploads the data back to the program.
What can I control as an owner from my smartphone while traveling?
Sales summaries, cash desk report for the day, current stock balances and product cost, as well as the balance with suppliers with export to PDF — when there is a connection to the server.
Can purchase prices and stock balances of other stores be hidden from sellers?
Yes. Accesses in the app are regulated by roles configured in the main program. You can prohibit viewing the purchase price, editing sale prices, and also hide financial summaries, cash desks, and stock balances of other network points.
What is required on the server side for the app to work?
Any internet connection is suitable on the smartphone. On the computer with the database, the app server service must be running, a port must be opened in the firewall and router, and there must be a static external IP address from the provider.
How many devices need the option?
The option is purchased separately for each mobile device, regardless of the program version. If several phones work with the app simultaneously, each one needs its own license.
Which phones does the app work on?
The app works on Android devices and on iPhone or iPad. For iOS, version 13.0 and higher is required. Check the current OS version requirements on the app pages in Google Play and App Store.
