Torgsoft Program operates on the Windows operating system, and issues with this OS directly impact the program's performance. One such issue is the automatic startup of the SQL Server service, which is required for the Torgsoft database. This article discusses several methods to manually start the SQL Server service.

To start the SQL Server service, actions need to be performed on the computer or server where the program is installed. The simplest way is to restart the computer, after which Windows should automatically start the SQL Server service. If this does not help or you cannot resolve this issue by restarting, use other options from this article.

Starting via SQL Server Configuration Manager

Open the Windows search box and find "SQL Server Configuration Manager" for your version of SQL Server. You can also find the SQL Server Configuration Manager program in the list of all programs on the computer or in the Start menu, in the quick access toolbar list.

Start via SQL Server

After opening the program, go to the "SQL Server Services" section. Here you will see a list of all services related to SQL Server. Find the SQL Server service you need to start. Right-click on the SQL Server service and select "Start" to start it.

Make sure that the 'Start Mode' column is set to 'Automatic' so that the SQL Server service starts automatically when the system boots.

Starting SQL Server via the list of all services

A universal way on any version of Windows is to open the list of services through the built-in "Run" utility with the "Win + R" key combination. In the field that appears, enter the command "services.msc" and click "OK" to open the list of services.

If this key combination does not work, you can find other ways to start the "Run" utility on the internet, depending on your version of Windows.

Opening the list via Task Manager

An additional way to open the list of services is through Task Manager. Right-click on the taskbar. In the context menu, select "Task Manager" and go to the "Services" tab. At the bottom of the window, click on the text "Open Services."

The process may visually differ depending on the version of Windows. Opening the list of services is shown using Windows 10 as an example.

Starting the SQL Server service

In the list of services, find the SQL Server service. Double-click the left mouse button on the service line to open its properties window. In the properties window, click the "Start" button to start the service.

Additionally, in the properties window, you can check the "Startup type" value, which determines the service startup type. The startup type should be set to "Automatic" so that the service starts automatically when Windows loads.

Абсолютно не зрозуміло як це зробити на Windows 10. І якщо за місяць це стається вже четвертий раз, і чекаємо поки почнеться ваш робочий ден . Варто дати інструкції всім, а не тільки тим у кого версія 6
