When a store processes dozens of financial transactions every day — sales, cash collections, supplier payments, and deposits into bank accounts — the owner or accountant needs to know which documents have already been reconciled and which still require review. In Torgsoft, the «Financial Document» window includes the «Document Verification» action for this purpose. It allows users to mark financial documents as verified, see who verified them and when, and filter transactions that have not yet been checked.
What Does a «Verified Financial Document» Mean?
A financial document in Torgsoft records money movements: the receipt or disbursement of funds through a cash register or bank account.
You can work with these documents under: Payment → Financial Document.
This window contains the Cash Register, Bank Account, and Journal tabs. To find a specific transaction, you can filter by period, document type, counterparty, financial analysis category, cash register, retail location, and enterprise.
The «Document Verification» action in the «Financial Document» window does not change the amount or content of a transaction. It only records that an authorized person has already verified the document.

How to Mark a Document as Verified
Open Payment → Financial Document and find the required transaction.
For example, a store owner receives information from a cashier about a cash collection and wants to check whether it was recorded correctly in the software.
Then:
-
Select the required document.
-
You can select several documents at once if necessary.
-
In the «Financial Document» window, click «Document Verification».
After verification, the document will be highlighted in green. Verified documents also appear in green on the Journal tab.
This allows you to distinguish reconciled transactions from those that still need to be reviewed.
How to See Who Verified a Document and When
To check the verification history, select a document that has already been verified and click «Document Verification» in the «Financial Document» window.
Torgsoft will display a confirmation message showing:
-
who verified the document;
-
when it was verified.
You can also cancel the verified status in the same window. To do this, confirm the action by clicking «Yes». This is useful if you discover after verification that the document needs to be reviewed again or corrected.
How to Find Only Unverified Transactions
When there are many documents, reviewing the entire list is inconvenient. The «Financial Document» window therefore includes a «Document Status» filter.
It allows you to display:
-
all documents;
-
verified documents only;
-
unverified documents only.
The filter works on the Cash Register, Bank Account, and Journal tabs.
For example, at the end of the working day, you can select Document Status → Unverified and see only transactions that have not yet been reconciled.
How to Monitor Cash and Bank Transactions
To verify financial transactions, open Payment → Financial Document. Depending on the transaction type, use the Cash Register tab for cash documents or the Bank Account tab for cashless transactions.
Here you can verify incoming and outgoing payments, cash collections, supplier payments, deposits into bank accounts, payment orders, and other financial documents.
A convenient workflow is:
-
Set the required period.
-
Open the Cash Register or Bank Account tab.
-
If necessary, select a cash register, retail location, or other filter parameters.
-
Set Document Status → Unverified.
-
Reconcile the amounts, payment purposes, and other transaction details.
-
After checking, select the document and click «Document Verification» in the «Financial Document» window.
If you have several stores, cash registers, or bank accounts, filters allow you to review transactions separately for a particular cash register, retail location, counterparty, financial analysis category, or other parameters.
This means verified cash and bank transactions do not need to be reviewed again.
What to Do If You Find an Error in a Verified Document
First, select the document in the «Financial Document» window and click «Document Verification» to cancel its verified status.
You can then correct the document if the software allows editing.
There is an important restriction for cash documents: a document can be changed or deleted only while the corresponding cash register day is open. If the document is linked to a payment for goods, that payment must also be canceled before the document is changed or deleted.
After making corrections, review the document again and mark it as verified using the «Document Verification» button.
Is the Deletion of a Financial Document Recorded?
Yes. Deleting a financial document is recorded under File → User Action Log. The log contains information about the document: its type, number, date, and amount. This allows you to monitor not only financial transactions themselves but also changes users have made to the records.
How to Organize Regular Verification
For a store or retail chain, a simple workflow is sufficient: select a period → display unverified documents → reconcile transactions → mark verified documents using the «Document Verification» button.

For cash transactions, use the Cash Register tab; for cashless transactions, use Bank Account; and for an overall review, use Journal. All these tabs are available in the «Financial Document» window.
Key rule: the «Document Verification» mark means the document has already been checked. If you need to change it afterward, first cancel its verified status using the same action, correct the document, and verify it again.
