How to import the entire range of sizes into Torgsoft?

To post a product with sizes in Torgsoft, you first need to configure the size range, enable the use of sizes for the required product type, and link this range to the manufacturer. After that, sizes can be specified during the receipt of goods — immediately for the entire size range or in turn for each model item.

Before posting, check that the size range is created correctly, the size attribute is enabled for the desired product type, and the manufacturer is assigned exactly the range that corresponds to this model. If one of these steps is skipped or the wrong directory is configured, the size field in the product card will work incorrectly, or the required range will not appear during entry. If there is a doubt about exactly where to change the settings — in the product type, manufacturer, or product card, it is better to clarify this with technical support first.

Step 1. Preliminary setup (performed once for new size ranges)

1. Go to the menu «Merchandising» — «Size range». Click «Add», enter the name of the new size range, save, and then in the bottom block add all the required sizes to it one by one.
2. Go to the menu «Merchandising» — «Product type». Select the required product type, click «Edit», check the box next to the «Size» field and click «Save».
3. Go to the menu «Merchandising» — «Manufacturer». Select the required manufacturer, click «Edit», select the previously created size range from the drop-down list and click «Save».

Step 2. Posting the goods

1. Open the menu «Document» — «Receipt of goods». Create the header of a new receipt note (click «Add» or «New receipt», select the supplier, currency) and click «Save».
2. In the opened receipt note window, click the «Add» button (or the F4 key) to create a new product card.
3. Fill out the product card: be sure to select the previously configured «Product type» and «Manufacturer», specify prices, season, description, and other necessary characteristics.
4. Next to the «Size» field, click the «Sz» (Size) button.
5. In the opened «Manufacturer's size range» window, specify the total quantity of goods for all sizes simultaneously or enter the exact quantity next to each size separately. After entering the quantity, press the Enter key.
6. Save the information about the new goods by clicking the «Save» button in the product card.

Alternative method (if you need to enter sizes one by one): in the product card on the «Settings» tab, there is a «Model size range» switch. If you activate it when posting the first product, the program will remember all entered characteristics (including prices) for this model. When adding subsequent units, you will only need to specify a different size, which significantly speeds up manual entry.
