In this video, we show how Self-checkout works in Torgsoft—a solution for stores where customers can scan products on their own, see the purchase total, change the quantity, apply a discount card, and pay by bank card.
Using a practical example, we go through the full workflow: from adding products to the cart to payment via a bank terminal and printing a fiscal receipt. We also show separately how the system works with excisable goods: when the customer’s age needs to be verified, the checkout blocks payment until a seller or administrator intervenes.
Self-checkout helps a store open an additional service point without a cashier, reduce queues, relieve staff workload, and at the same time keep the owner in control of sales, payments, discounts, fiscalization, and excisable goods.
Self-checkout is suitable for stores where service speed and sales control are important.
