Card and barcode
Create a customer record and determine which unique barcode will be linked to their discount card. Before printing, check that the code is not duplicated and scans correctly. Store only the data needed for your work in the customer record.
Discount during a sale
Set up a discount or accumulation rule and check it on a test receipt after scanning the card. Verify how the price changed and whether the purchase was assigned to the correct customer. The 2011 lesson shows the principle, but fields and design in the current version may differ.
