This video is from 2015. The program’s design has changed considerably, and it has gained more features. However, the way many modes work has stayed the same or is very similar. We are updating the knowledge base and video lessons. Since 2022, videos have been exclusively in Ukrainian.
Accounts and roles
In the “Налаштування — Користувачі” menu, create a separate account with its own password for each employee. A role determines which features and data are available to them. For a salesperson, you can restrict access to purchase prices, summary figures, specific accounting centers, and actions in sales. After configuring access, test it using the relevant account to make sure the required operations are available and unnecessary ones are hidden.
Database backups
A backup is needed to restore accounting data after the working database is lost or damaged. In Torgsoft, you can create an archive manually using “Файл — Архівація” or set up regular copies on a schedule. Store copies separately from the working computer and check that they are actually being created. Transfer or restore the database according to the current instructions, taking the program version and archive contents into account.
What the video covers
The seminar covers user access, passwords, protection of the working computer, and storing database copies. The interface and some of the services mentioned are from an older version. For current field names, archiving schedules, and available storage methods, refer to the up-to-date help and materials on the website.
