In this video, a Torgsoft specialist shows how to connect the Verifone X990 bank terminal to the Torgsoft program using the SSI JSON protocol, so that the purchase amount is automatically transferred from the checkout to the POS terminal without manual entry by the cashier.
We review several ways to connect the terminal: via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB-COM, and also show how to check the IP address and MAC address, reserve an IP in the router, install the adapter driver, and test the connection with Torgsoft.
Separately, we demonstrate how to configure Verifone X990 in the program, connect it to the self-checkout, make a test payment, and use the terminal during a product sale. We also explain how to disable printing of the bank receipt on the terminal if payment data is transferred to the fiscal receipt through Software PECR.
This instruction will be useful for entrepreneurs who:
- accept card payments,
- want to reduce the risk of errors at the checkout,
- control non-cash payments,
- correctly record payments in accounting.
