If the internet connection is lost while working with the sRRO, Torgsoft can continue fiscalization in offline mode. In this mode, the program temporarily accumulates documents locally, and after the connection is restored, it automatically transmits them to the tax office. This article explains exactly how it works, what the limitations are, and how to end a shift without network access.
Offline mode does not mean unlimited work without a connection. It has time limits and restrictions on available offline numbers, so the loss of the internet should not be perceived as a normal continuous mode of operation. If the connection is missing for a long time or the sRRO stops performing operations, it is better not to continue working randomly, but to check the connection status and contact technical support if necessary.
How the sRRO works when the internet is lost
- Transition to offline. If the connection to the fiscal server is lost during an open shift, the sRRO switches to offline mode automatically.
- Printing receipts. The program accumulates receipts and assigns them special fiscal numbers of the offline session (session number, sequential document number, and control number).
- Restoring connection. The program automatically checks for a connection every 10 minutes.
- Synchronization. As soon as the internet appears, Torgsoft automatically transmits the package of accumulated offline documents to the tax office server, after which the sRRO returns to normal online mode.
Limits of working offline
- No more than 36 hours for one continuous offline session.
- No more than 168 hours in total during one calendar month.
- If the limits are exceeded or the range of allocated offline numbers is exhausted, the operation of the sRRO is blocked until the connection to the tax server is restored.
How to open the first shift if the internet is missing?
It is impossible to open the first shift without the internet.
According to the technical requirements of the software RRO, the first opening of a shift must always take place in online mode. This is a mandatory condition, since it is in this process that the program communicates with the tax service server and receives the necessary data (in particular, the allocated range of fiscal numbers), which will allow it to continue to work legally and issue receipts offline.
Also, if you use a solution for autonomous trade (for example, the Torgsoft Hybrid program), its first launch and the first sale of a product must necessarily be carried out with an available internet connection to download the database. Only after fulfilling this condition will you be able to continue working with the program in offline mode in case of connection loss.
Conclusion: for the cash register to be able to work and issue receipts in the absence of the internet, the shift must already be successfully opened before the connection is lost. It is also worth considering that the shift can open automatically during the first sale of a product, but this first sale must also take place online.
How to close a shift and send a report (if there was no internet all day)
- You can print a Z-report and close a shift in the program even during offline mode.
- Torgsoft will locally form a package containing the Z-report document and the "Shift closure" document.
- No additional manual actions are required: the program will save this data and automatically send it to the tax office as soon as the computer reconnects to the internet.
