How to start work with the right company and open a shift under the right ECR?
10.01.2022 01:00In Torgsoft, the selection of the sRRO during service operations and during the payment for goods is configured differently. To open a shift, X- and Z-reports, deposit and withdraw cash, it is important to correctly link the sRRO to the enterprises. For the payment of goods, you additionally need to configure the seller's rights and, if necessary, make the enterprise selection mandatory.
If several PEs and several sRROs are used at one workplace, it is important to separately configure service operations and separately the payment for goods. Otherwise, the program may use the default sRRO or not allow the seller to change the enterprise during payment. If there is a doubt about exactly where the selection logic is set — in the linking of the sRRO to the enterprise, in the seller's role, or in the document parameters, it is better to clarify this with technical support first.
Configuring the selection of the sRRO when opening a shift (service operations)
So that when opening a shift, creating X- or Z-reports, as well as depositing or withdrawing cash, the program asks which exact sRRO you want to work with, it is necessary to link each sRRO with the corresponding enterprise (PE).
Step 1. Linking the sRRO to the enterprise
This can be done in one of two ways:
- Method 1 (Via workplace settings): On the workplace settings form (where you select the main sRRO), find the «Workplace sRRO for the enterprise» table. Click the «Add» button and specify the pair: a specific Enterprise (PE) — its corresponding sRRO.
- Method 2 (Globally via the directory): Go to the menu Settings → Enterprise. Select the required PE, click «Edit», go to the Software RRO tab and specify the specific sRRO for this enterprise.
Result: If several sRROs for different PEs are registered at one workplace, when trying to open a shift or print a Z-report, the program will display a window with the selection of the required sRRO. If the sRRO is not defined by the enterprise, the default sRRO set for this workplace will be offered.
Configuring the selection of the sRRO (PE) when paying for goods
During the settlement with the client, the program determines through which sRRO to print the receipt, based on the selected enterprise of the document or the enterprise of the current account.
Step 2. Granting rights to the seller to change the enterprise
By default, for roles with limited rights (for example, «Seller»), the ability to change the enterprise during payment is disabled. To change this:
- Go to the menu Settings → Parameters → Role → Realization.
- Select the required role.
- Enable the «Allowed to change enterprise when paying for realization» parameter.
Step 3. Setting mandatory enterprise selection
So that the seller does not forget to select the PE and the receipt does not mistakenly go to the default sRRO:
- Go to the menu Settings → Parameters → Documents.
- Enable the «Enterprise selection is mandatory for warehouse and financial documents» setting.
Result: when entering the payment, the enterprise selection field will be mandatory to fill out, and the seller will not be able to carry out the realization until they explicitly specify the required PE. The fiscal receipt will be printed on the sRRO that is linked specifically to this enterprise.
