The template determines which product details are printed on the label and where they appear. The video shows how to copy a ready-made layout, edit the name, item number, price, and barcode, and save the template to a file. For a promotional price, you can change how the old and new prices appear in the layout.
Fields, size, and test print
Before printing, check the layout size against the roll and driver settings. Check a test label to make sure all fields fit, the barcode is readable, and the price matches the product in Torgsoft. If you move the template to another workstation, also check that printer's settings.
