A promotion defines the conditions under which a customer receives a discount or another benefit. The video shows how to configure promotions in Torgsoft using specific examples. First, define the products and customers covered by the rule, its active period, and the calculation method. Phrase the terms so that the cashier can explain them to the customer.
Checking promotion conditions
After saving, make a test sale with a product included in the promotion and one that is not. Check the total, how the promotion combines with other discounts, and the rule’s end date. If there are several promotions, check how they interact separately before applying them to the entire assortment.
