Product Labels and Cards
A barcode links a label to a specific product item. When creating a product card, check the name, attributes, unit of measure, and manufacturer’s code. If there is no code, create an internal one and print a label. For sizes or colors, label the specific variant so scanning does not mix up stock.
Product Movement
A scanner speeds up finding an item during receiving, sales, returns, and stocktaking. However, the code itself does not replace checking the quantity, price, and document: after each operation, verify the result in the corresponding accounting center. The video was recorded using the 2012 version, so current mode names may differ.
