Products and pricing
In a building materials store, some items are sold individually, while others are sold by length, area, or volume. Set the base unit in the product card and check the conversion used for sales. For a wholesale price, set the quantity threshold and check how it applies at checkout. Define the contents of a kit so you do not sell more than the available components.
Orders and fulfillment
For bulky goods, separate checkout payment from the actual warehouse handover while keeping the documents linked. Customer orders, warranty goods, and returns should appear in the records as separate transactions. The 2014 webinar shows an older version; check the current warehouse, pricing, and employee permission settings before applying these steps.
