Stock Management for a Children’s Store

Assortment by attributes

For clothing and footwear, separate the model, size, and color so you can see the stock for each variant. Label toys and small items so the cashier can select the right product. When receiving and transferring goods, check the specific attributes, not just the model’s total quantity.

Try-ons, returns, and discounts

Handle items taken for try-on according to your store’s procedure, and process returns using the appropriate document. For loyalty or seasonal discounts, set the terms, thresholds, and validity period, then check a test receipt. This 2014 webinar shows an older version; your store’s current rules and settings take precedence over the example in the video.
