Initial data
Before your first sales, define your accounting centers, units of measure, product attributes, and pricing rules. Enter opening stock with the actual quantities, and record new deliveries in separate documents. For clothing and footwear, distinguish between the model, size, and color so the salesperson can see whether the required variant is in stock.
Checkout and equipment
Connect a scanner and label printer, then check printing and scan a test item. Run a practice sale, return, and warehouse transfer, checking how the stock levels change. The 2013 seminar is long and shows an old version of the program; use it to understand the sequence of inventory operations, and refer to the current help documentation for exact commands.
