Product card
If your store does not have a scanner, you can search for a product by SKU, name, and its attributes. Fill in the card so the sales associate can distinguish similar items: name, SKU, size or color, unit of measure, and price. A photo helps identify the product, but does not replace checking its specific variant and stock level.
Sale and price tag
Print a price tag with the name and current price, and when making a sale, check that the item found matches the product in hand. If you add barcodes later, link each code to the correct card and test scanning. This 2012 video was recorded using an older version; the product search principle is still useful, while fields and command order may have changed.
